John 1vs1 in the beginning was the word and word was with God and the word was God......good morning brethren and welcome to church.
In today's sermon God is teaching us in a common understanding when he said in his word; and the word was made flesh and dwelleth among men. The bible was taking about Christ when he came to earth to die for our sins...and the word was made flesh; he was born just like everyone of us so he can communicate with humanity and to deliver the oppress, and save the undying souls. He went through what we went through and even tougher and rougher situations; he was hungry that we might be filled, he was wounded that we might be healed, he was embarrassed that our shame might be covered, he paid every single price for us in the cross of Calvary that we might not be found guilty of any offense only if we believe in his name and do his will then we'll be save. John 3vs16 "for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whomsoever believed in him should not perish but have everlasting life" Christ is indeed the best gift of love God gave to mankind for no one would do these for us not even our parents, husbands or wife, sisters or brothers, but God in his infinite love gave the whole world his only begotten son not withstanding all the pains he went through just for our sake, so we'll not be consumed, I therefore urge us brethen not to despise Christ death by putting up worldly pleasures first in our lives, whenever we're misbehaving let's remember that Christ cares for us more than anybody in the world.
Lord Jesus give us the heart to remember that you came to earth just for our sake, to save us from enternal death and hell Amen.
Prayer for the unsaved: lord Jesus I am sorry for the careless ways I've lived in the past, I fall at the foot of the cross today that you wash me with your blood and cleanse me from all unrighteousness, I acknowledge you as my lord and savior, thank you for accepting back into your family, Amen!
