AN EPISTLE TO PASTORS' WIVES (PART 3)

The Final Charge

Beloved sisters in Christ, remain steadfast in the work the Lord has committed to your hands.

There may be seasons of misunderstanding, sacrifice, financial challenges, loneliness, or criticism. Do not become weary in well-doing. The God who called your family into ministry is faithful. He will strengthen you, preserve you, and reward your labour in due season.

Therefore:

- Continue in prayer.
- Walk in holiness.
- Love your husband faithfully.
- Raise godly children.
- Serve the church with humility.
- Be an example to younger women.
- Promote peace wherever you go.
- Let Christ be seen in your character.

Remember that your influence extends far beyond what you may ever realize. Your prayers strengthen a pastor. Your faith blesses a family. Your example inspires a congregation. Your service advances the Kingdom of God.

May your children rise and call you blessed. May your husband safely trust in you. May your church be strengthened through your godly influence. Above all, may the Lord Jesus Christ say to you on that glorious day, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Prayer

Heavenly Father, strengthen every pastor's wife with fresh grace. Fill her with wisdom, courage, patience, humility, and unwavering faith. Bless her home, preserve her family, empower her prayers, and let her life continually reflect the beauty of Christ. May she never grow weary but finish her course with joy, to the glory of Your holy name.

Amen.

Serving the Church with Wisdom and Grace

Grace and peace be unto you.

Having considered the dignity of your calling, let us now reflect on how your conduct can strengthen both your husband and the church.

5. Support the Vision God Has Given Your Husband

God entrusts His servants with divine assignments. Stand with your husband in faith and unity. Avoid becoming an obstacle to the vision God has placed in his heart. Your cooperation strengthens the ministry and glorifies God.

6. Love the Church Sincerely

Love every member without partiality. Welcome strangers, encourage the weak, comfort the broken-hearted, and honour both the young and the old.

Let the compassion of Christ be evident in your words and actions.

7. Guard Confidential Matters

Because of your husband's ministry, you may become aware of sensitive information. Be faithful in keeping confidence.

Refuse gossip, backbiting, and unnecessary discussions about the private matters of others. A trustworthy pastor's wife becomes a blessing to the church.

8. Continue Growing Spiritually

Never depend solely on your husband's relationship with God.

Study the Scriptures diligently. Pray consistently. Worship sincerely. Pursue holiness daily. The stronger your personal walk with Christ, the greater your effectiveness in ministry.

9. Exercise Wisdom in Relationships

Relate to everyone with purity, humility, and discretion. Avoid unnecessary familiarity that may create misunderstanding or bring reproach upon the ministry.

Walk wisely, for your life is continually observed by many.

AN EPISTLE TO PASTORS' WIVES (PART 1)

The High Calling of a Pastor's Wife

Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied unto you from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

To every pastor's wife whom God has called to stand beside His servant, I write with gratitude and deep appreciation for your labour in the Kingdom. Though your ministry is often carried out behind the scenes, Heaven sees every sacrifice, every prayer, every tear, and every act of faithfulness.

Beloved sister, never think your assignment is ordinary. While the Bible does not establish the office of a "pastor's wife," it clearly teaches the virtues of a godly woman whose life strengthens her husband, blesses her family, and influences the church for Christ.

Therefore, walk worthy of this sacred calling.

1. Be a Woman of Prayer

Your husband faces spiritual battles that many people never see. Lift him daily before the throne of grace. Pray that God will preserve his purity, increase his wisdom, strengthen his faith, and empower his ministry.

Pray also for your children, your church, and the advancement of the Gospel. A praying pastor's wife is one of God's greatest gifts to a pastor.

2. Honour and Encourage Your Husband

The ministry often brings pressure, criticism, and discouragement. Let your home become a place where your husband finds comfort rather than conflict.

Speak words that strengthen his faith. Celebrate his victories. Stand beside him during difficult seasons. Your encouragement can restore strength when he is weary.

3. Build a Christ-Centred Home

A pastor's first ministry is often his family, and you share that responsibility with him.

Create a home where Christ is honoured, peace reigns, prayer is valued, and children are taught the fear of the Lord. A healthy family gives credibility to a fruitful ministry.

4. Walk in Godly Character

Adorn yourself with humility, holiness, modesty, kindness, and integrity. Let your life preach Christ before your lips do.

People may forget your words, but they will remember your example.

Your Marital Breakthrough

An encounter with God is what opens up your marital destiny in Christ. To break free from delay and enjoy ease in your marriage, you must be connected to God.

If you want to give your life to Christ or rededicate your life to Him, say this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive my sins and make me a new creation. Thank You for saving me.

Teaching Series: Understanding the Power of Vision (Pt. 4A)

You are a product of God's factory, so your purpose was determined right there. - Ps. 139:14

There was a pre-determined purpose before your arrival on earth, and your relationship with Christ brings you into that purpose.

God has a settled plan for you; all you need to do is find it out.

When you walk in the centre of God's plan for you, you enjoy His raw backing, which makes you more than a conqueror in the battles of life.

God's plans are contained in the Book, the Bible. - Mark 4:11

The Bible not only informs, it primarily speaks.

God does not predict the future; He defines the future.

God's plan secures the future. Seek His plan.

There is no confirmation against the truth that will stand. Get it right from God.

Walking in the centre of God’s plan makes you amazed.

Every vision or prophecy must be validated by the Word of God.

To be guided by God, you must be sensitive to the move and the voice of the Spirit. - John 5:30

You can't hear the voice of the Spirit without being in the Spirit. - Gal. 5:25

How to Access God's Vision for Your Life

1. Be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. - John 16:13

2. Engage the mystery of praise as a lifestyle. - Isa. 30:29-30

Biblical Proof of a True Vision

1. When God leads, He works through you. - John 14:10

2. When God leads, He works for you. - Isa. 45:1

3. When God leads, you are ever refreshed. - Prov. 3:17

Marital Breakthrough Ministration

God is the author of marriage, and every good thing is your entitlement in Christ, including a successful marriage. - Gen. 2:18

Marriage is God's idea, not the constitution of any nation.

To actualise your marital destiny in Christ:

1. Be born again. - Rom. 8:28, Rom. 8:32

- It's your right to enjoy peace when you have received Christ.

2. Stay in love with God. - John 14:21, John 3:3

3. Be committed to Kingdom advancement endeavours. - Ps. 102:13
