As part of the 2026 National Youth Week and the innovative direction of the 2026 Diocesan Youth Week Committee for an allotted day for an Archdeaconry organized programme in the week which is already in our usual manner, the 2026 ARCHDEACONRY VIGIL

19 Abuja Bye-Pass, Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The night was a bountifully attended and lively one with activities ranging from Hot Praise Session by Evang. Chinedu Nehemiah, interesting Playlet Presentation by PHWA Drama Theatre, Panel Discussion on youth related issues with past leaders Bro. Duruji Ugochukwu and Engr. Sam Onuegbu as Panelists, Teaching and Exposition of God's Word by Evang. Uche Agbaeze, Appreciation Session for the President and Vice President as directed by the Diocesan and a nourishing mouth watering Tea Time to dilute all that had been assimilated.
In summary, the PHWA 2026 YOUTH WEEK VIGIL was a spiritually curated gathering aimed at inspiring young people to rediscover and revive the courage, commitment, values, and zeal that characterized previous generations of Christian youths. Through biblical teachings, discussions, drama presentations, praises, fellowship, and recreational activities, participants were encouraged to become godly role models and effective witnesses for Christ in the 21st century; even as the program equally provided an opportunity for youths from different Parishes and Station Churches within the Archdeaconry to worship together, build relationships, share experiences, and strengthen their faith. Again, the Tea Night segment created a relaxed atmosphere for interaction, while the Appreciation Night recognized individuals such as the Archdeaconry President and Vice who have contributed to the growth and development of the Archdeaconry Fellowship.
Moreso, the event concluded with a renewed call for Christian youths to uphold biblical values, remain steadfast in their faith, and actively contribute to the advancement of the Church and society.
We appreciate all those who attended and believe we were heavily impacted;even as we enjoin us to look forward and participate bountifully in the other programmes of the year to come.
