Today's Message;
SPIRITUAL RESERVE SYSTEM
Text: Job 38:1, 22-23 (KJV)
Introduction:
This is a system of building up spiritual strength against the day of battle and war. You don't need to wait for challenges before you start to organize prayers. When prayers become your daily and regular affair, you are actually building up a strength reserve.
[1] *Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,*
[22] *Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,*
[23] *Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?*Job 38:1, 22-23 (KJV)
We are living in a world that is rooted in wickedness, trials, troubles, plagues, temptations etc. Most times, they manifest without any sign or announcement. Without a solid spiritual reserve strength even the saints of God can end up as victims. In fact, many have been casualties of these unexpected battles of life.

These battles come in different forms such as an attack on ones health, finance, marriage, job, business, career, children etc. But when you are spiritually well built up, you can check the devil out of your territory anyday, anytime.

Do you know our God maintains different reserve systems against the day of battle and war?
- Treasures of snow.
- Treasures of hail.
Job 38:22-23 (KJV)
[22] *Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,*
[23] *Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?*

What makes people to faint or cave in when confronted with unexpected troubles is due to insufficient or empty spiritual reserve strength.

Proverbs 24:10 (KJV)
*If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.*

Our inheritance are constantly contended for by the forces of darkness and we need supernatural power to crush them whenever they show up. Anytime God opens doors of greatness for us, the enemy is waiting to stop us or close the doo

*GRACE FOR OVERCOMING TEMPTATION*
2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
*And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.*

Life is a journey and your character is a reflection of your eternal destination. It is a picture of where you are going to spend your eternity. There are multiples of temptations along the way. In fact, there is a forbidden tree in the midst of every garden and peculiar temptation in every situation. But God in His wisdom and mercy has provision for us to overcome all temptations and weaknesses of the flesh if we can understand and embrace it. It is called strengthening grace.

*Strengthening Grace*

2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
*And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...*

This is yet another level of grace that guarantees strength for our weakness. As long as we are still putting on flesh and blood, we can't run away from human weakness completely but as long as there is continuous flow of this grace to us, we will not be betrayed by such weakness, especially during temptation.

*How To Access It*

A. *Put Your Trust In The Lord*

2 Corinthians 3:4-5 (KJV)
[4] *And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:*
[5] *Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;*

Never put your confidence in flesh but truly put your trust in God for continuous flow of His grace to help you in the time of need. The scripture says those who put their trust in God cannot be removed by anything.

Psalms 125:1-2 (KJV)
[1] *They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.*
[2] *As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.*

Jesus told Peter that he will deny him, but Peter rebuked Jesus and sai
