We appease Esu for protection, that no weapon or deceit may prevail against us.

We appease Esu for wealth, that our labor may bear fruit and our path remain open.

Those who walk on the path of ifa know nothing moves without Eshu and he opens the road, delivers the message, and stands as the gatekeeper between the seen and unseen.

To neglect Esu is to close the door on your own destiny.

To honor Eshu is to walk with divine alignment and favor.

The Importance of Making Ẹbọ After Ifa Consultation 🕯️

In Ifa tradition, consultation is the way we communicate with the divine — seeking guidance, warnings, and blessings from Orunmila and the Orisa. However, the message alone is not enough. When Ifa reveals a situation, it also prescribes a solution, which often comes through Ẹbọ (sacrifice).

Ẹbọ is the spiritual action that brings balance between the physical and spiritual worlds. When we perform Ẹbọ, we are not just giving — we are exchanging negative energy for positive outcomes. It is the step that transforms the message of Ifa into real manifestation.

Through Ẹbọ:

We appease the forces that may bring obstacles.

We attract blessings, peace, and protection.

We remove impending danger, sickness, or loss.

We open the path for progress, love, wealth, and success.

Ignoring Ẹbọ after consultation is like visiting a doctor, receiving a prescription, and refusing to take the medicine. Ifa may show the problem and solution, but without the Ẹbọ, the situation remains unchanged.

Always remember — Ifa speaks through consultation, but acts through Ẹbọ.

Ifa Dida!!!

When it comes to Ifa Dida, all questions always have answers.

We consult Ifa so as to know which step to take in order not to go astray.

Someone may consult Ifa because of money but Ifa may foresee death on the person which means the person need to take care of his/her life first before anything. When there's life money will come visiting.

It's advisable to consult Ifa every 15days according to this Yoruba saying that:

Bí òní ti rí
Òla ò rí bè
Ló mú Babaláwo d'ífá ororún

The way things are today
Won't be the same tomorrow
Makes a Babalawo to consult Ifa every (5 or 15) days.

And sometimes we will consult Ifa because of ourselves but Ifa will warn against any disaster that ones to befall on ones family or community and even foresee any bad thing that should have happened.
