Rev. Dr. Ben Tella was born into the family of Pa. Johnson Adeniran Tella of Ona-Isokun Compound, Oyo-Alaafin, Oyo State.
He began his academic and spiritual journey at Baptist Day School, Isokun, Oyo, and later pursued theological education to the highest level, earning a Doctorate Degree in Theology from Africa International University, Kenya.
His doctoral research focused on Church Marketing and Revitalization, reflecting his passion for helping churches grow, remain relevant, and fulfill their God-given mandate.
Dr. Tella has decades of pastoral leadership experience, serving in several Baptist churches where God used him to promote revival, organizational growth, discipleship, and stability.
He currently serves as the President of Oyo Baptist Conference, providing spiritual oversight, visionary leadership, and direction for pastors, churches, and members across the Conference.
His ministry focuses on pastoral leadership, leadership development, prayer, coaching, church growth, and revival. He is a sought-after speaker at churches, conferences, leadership summits, and organizations in Nigeria and internationally.
Dr. Tella is the Founder and Director of Prophetic Sayings, a daily apostolic, prophetic, and prayer broadcast reaching thousands globally with encouragement, spiritual direction, and impartation.
He is happily married to Mrs. Yemi Tella, and together they are committed to Christ, ministry, and raising godly leaders.
