*Bible Text: Ruth 1
*Key scripture: ‘when he finally came to his senses, he said to himself , at home even the hired men have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! I will go home to my father and say, Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you.’ Luke 15: 17-18.

*TOPIC: HOME CALLING.*

After having lost all- her husband and her sons in Moab, Naomi made a decision to go back to Judah, her homeland. She traced back her steps to her origin. Just like the prodigal son, she summoned courage having realizing there was still a place called ‘Home’.

People tend to find their homes in people, things, places, jobs or maybe food.😁 But, are these truly home?

You should only call a place home if it constantly gives you security, shelter and if it constantly provides for your needs adequately. So, Home is a place that constantly gives you security, shelter and meet your needs adequately.

Looking at the above definition, Only a person comes to mind and He is God. Home is a being, God is home. I have heard the words ‘you no longer have a home here’ even from families.

Now, enough of going about seeking closure in the wrong people, things and places, enough. It is time to go home!
