DRESS TO WORK FOR JESUS MINISTRIES, INTL.
(Chapel Of Victory)
*Day 20 - Fasting & Prayer Devotion*
January 27, 2026
*Theme: Above Only: Abundance with a Purpose*
*Verse of the Day:*
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
~*2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)*
*Reflection:*
God’s idea of abundance is never selfish, it is always purposeful. When Scripture says you shall be “above only,” it speaks not of pride or comparison, but of divine sufficiency. God lifts His people above lack, fear, and limitation so they can become channels of blessing to others.
* In 2 Corinthians 9:8, we see a powerful promise: God supplies *all we need, at all times, for every good work*. This means your increase is connected to impact. Heaven’s abundance flows to hands that are willing to give, serve, and reflect God’s generosity.
* Being “above only” does not mean you will never face challenges, but it does mean you will never be without provision. When God blesses you, it is not just to sustain you, but to position you as a solution in someone else’s life. You are lifted so others may be helped through you.
Today, trust that God’s grace is working in your life, equipping you with more than enough; spiritually, materially, and emotionally, to fulfill His purpose.
*Prayer:*
Father God,
Thank You for Your abundant grace at work in my life. I receive Your promise that I will have all I need at all times. Lift me above lack, fear, and insufficiency, and make me a vessel of blessing to others. Help me to give freely, serve joyfully, and trust You completely. Let my life reflect Your generosity and glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*Meditation for the Day:*
“God’s abundance in my life is intentional and purposeful. I have enough, and I have something to give.”
*Ask yourself:* How can I be a blessing today; through my words, resources, time, or compassion?
Walk confidently, knowing that as you give, God continually replenishes you.
