โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ Love Revolution and family breakthrough - Choosing Wisely and Protecting Your Destiny

Marriage is good, but it is also expensive and requires attention, commitment, sacrifice, and investment. It is capital-intensiveโ€”not only financially, but emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

โ€œIf you choose wrongly in marriage, you lose 70% of your usefulness in the hands of God.โ€

๐Ÿ“– Daniel 1:8 โ€“ Life is a choice.
Marriage goes beyond emotions; it requires wisdom and deliberate decisions.

โš ๏ธ Judges 14:1 โ€“ Distraction can destroy destinies.

๐Ÿ’ Points on Whom to Marry

๐Ÿ”น Marry Your Friend; Donโ€™t Marry a Stranger.
Build friendship and understanding before marriage.
๐Ÿ”น Marry Someone Within Your Circle.
Consider someone from your church community, social circle, or someone introduced through a trusted referral. Find out whether you can genuinely complement each other.
๐Ÿ”น The Referrer Must Have Integrity.
If someone recommends a person to you, ensure that the person making the recommendation is trustworthy and has good judgment.
๐Ÿ”น Marry Someone Committed to Serving God.
A person who is genuinely committed to serving God should understand the values of sacrifice, responsibility, and care for others.
๐Ÿ”น Marry Someone Who Has the Fear of God.
Character and reverence for God should be more important than outward appearance or material possessions.
๐Ÿ”น Choose Carefully - Once you marry wrongly, it can significantly affect your purpose, destiny, productivity, and usefulness in the hands of God.

โš ๏ธ Things That Can Make Us Marry Wrongly

๐Ÿ“– Proverbs 3:5โ€“6 โ€“ Trust God with all your heart and acknowledge Him in all your ways.

โœ“ 1. Physical Attraction and Appearance
Song of Solomon 4:1
Physical attraction is important, but it should not be the foundation for choosing a life partner.
โœ“ 2. Connection - Do not marry simply because someone has connections that can make you relevant or influential.

โœ“ 3. Beauty - Do not allow physical beauty to override wisdom, character, and spiritual discernment.

โœ“ 4. Money -Do not choose someone merely because, โ€œHe/She is loaded.โ€ Financial capacity is not the same as character or compatibility.

โœ“ 5. Influence - Do not allow the influence or pressure of parents, friends, or society to determine whom you marry.
Song of Solomon 8:4

๐Ÿšซ Boundaries Before Marriage

โœ“ Never make someone of the opposite s*x your primary prayer partner when there is no clear marital intention.
โœ“ Do not spend excessive or inappropriate amounts of time alone with someone who is not your spouse.
โœ“ Have respect for yourself and maintain healthy boundaries.
โœ“ Never spend the night in the house of someone you are preparing to marry.
โœ“ Do not engage in premarital s*x. Maintaining s*xual boundaries can help you preserve emotional clarity and protect your heart if the relationship eventually ends.
โœ“ Ladies, never date a married man. Respect the boundaries of marriage. ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿ‘ฉ Three Powerful Gifts God Has Given Women

๐Ÿ’„ 1. Make-Up โ€“ Personal Development
The emphasis is on making yourself up through personal developmentโ€”spiritually, physically, educationally, and emotionally.

A woman plays a significant role in raising and shaping the next generation. Therefore, invest in yourself and become better in every area of life.

๐Ÿง  2. Intellect โ€“ A Sound Mind
Develop your mind. Do not be ignorant. Pursue knowledge, wisdom, education, and understanding.

โœจ 3. Beauty โ€“ Physical and Inner Beauty
Beauty is powerful, but true beauty goes beyond physical appearance. Cultivate both physical beauty and inner beauty, because character gives lasting value to outward beauty.

First Service Word Except with Pastor KC Nnaji

Love Revolution and family breakthrough - Marriage Compatibility

1. Spiritual Compatibility - 2 Corinthians 6:14
You are a spirit being. Do not marry someone with the mindset that, โ€œI will marry him/her and convert them later.โ€ Spiritual compatibility is essential in marriage.

2. Accountability
Both partners should be willing to take responsibility for their actions, communicate honestly, and remain accountable to each other.

3. Emotional Compatibility
Philippians 2:2; James 1:19
Your temperaments may differ, but there must be emotional understanding and maturity. Do not marry someone with an unforgiving spirit, someone who constantly talks you down, or someone who disregards your feelings. Marry someone who supports you, respects your emotions, and helps you become better.

4. Intellectual Compatibility
Proverbs 13:20 โ€” โ€œIron sharpeneth iron.โ€
Ask yourself: The person I am getting married to, are we on the same frequency intellectually? There should be room for meaningful conversations, learning, growth, and mutual understanding. A significant intellectual gap can create challenges if both partners cannot connect or grow together.

5. Social Compatibility
Genesis 2:18; Proverbs 18:24
What kind of social life do you and your partner engage in? Consider each otherโ€™s friendships, interests, lifestyle, and social values. Marriage requires considering your partner as you make decisions.

6. Physical Compatibility
Song of Solomon 4:1
Marry someone who is genuinely attracted to you. Physical attraction and affection are important aspects of marital intimacy.

7. Compatibility in Communication
Couples should be able to discuss issues respectfully, honestly, and on time. Healthy communication requires both partners to listen, understand, and express themselves appropriately.

The 6 Tโ€™s of Communication

1. T โ€“ Timing: Discuss matters at the right time.
2. T โ€“ Tone: Use the right tone when communicating.
3. T โ€“ Tactfulness: Be polite, sensitive, and considerate.
4. T โ€“ Transparency: Be open and clear with each other.
5. T โ€“ Truthfulness: Speak the truth honestly.
6. T โ€“ Thoroughness: Say everything that needs to be said; do not postpone important conversations.

๐Ÿ’ SECOND SERVICE: BUILDING A STRONG MARRIAGE

Text: Joshua 21:43โ€“44; Psalm 90:14

โค๏ธ Marriage is not sustained by love alone. It requires knowledge, communication, understanding, sacrifice, and intentionality.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Pillars of a Healthy Marriage
1. Learn Together ๐Ÿ“š
Attend seminars, seek godly counsel, and keep growing together.
2. Do Not Neglect Issues โš ๏ธ
Address problems early before they become bigger.
3. Give Attention โค๏ธ
Never become too familiar to the point of taking your spouse for granted.
4. Communicate ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ
Be honest, open, and willing to resolve conflicts.

ยซโ€œBe angry, and do not sin.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 4:26ยป

๐Ÿšจ Things That Destroy Marriage
- Neglect and familiarity
- Unrealistic expectations
- Lack of preparation
- Holding on to the past
- Financial irresponsibility ๐Ÿ’ฐ
- Poor communication
- Third-party interference
- Infidelity and s*xual irresponsibility

โŒ Wrong Reasons to Marry
Do not marry because of money, s*x, loneliness, peer pressure, house chores, social status, pity, or simply because you have known someone for a long time.

Marriage is a covenant, not a convenience. ๐Ÿค

Build it with wisdom ๐Ÿง , protect it with communication ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ, nurture it with love โค๏ธ, and keep Christ at the centre. โœ๏ธ

ยซโ€œO satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.โ€ โ€” Psalm 90:14 ๐Ÿ™ยป

A Moment of Thanksgiving & Celebration ๐ŸŽ“โœจ

It was a beautiful moment of joy as the latest graduates of the prestigious Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. Class of 2026 came before the Lord to give thanks for how far He has brought them.

Four years of learning, perseverance, growth, and countless experiences have culminated in this remarkable milestone. With hearts full of gratitude and faces filled with beautiful smiles, they returned all the praise to God for seeing them through.

Their testimonies were shared, special prayers were offered launching them forth, and the entire congregation joined in celebrating this significant achievement.

Congratulations to all our graduates of Dominion City Nekede.
Indeed, it could only have been God! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ
