TOPIC: CRISIS MANAGEMENT
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 46:1 (NKJV).
BIBLE PASSAGE: Nehemiah 4:6-9,16-18.
INTRODUCTION: A crisis is an inevitable negative event that leads to a dangerous or unstable situation (Job 14:1).
In everyone's life, there is always a time when we come face to face with challenges, temptations, etc. Nevertheless, as believers, how we respond to these crises matters as it is a clear reflection of how deeply we trust God and have faith in His word. For a child of God, being born again is no guarantee of a jolly ride on our journey of faith. It is important to learn how to manage a crisis in whatever form it may take.

FORMS OF CRISIS
Some crises are foreseeable while others are usually not anticipated (Genesis 41:29-31; Exodus 14:10). For believers, it is not every crisis that is negative (Romans 8:28). The following are some of the appearances crises may take:
1. Spiritual Crisis: It is an experience that challenges one's faith or sense of purpose and a time when one seeks deeper understanding (Job 10:18). Causes of spiritual crisis may include unanswered prayers, false teachings, doubts, etc. (Ephesians 4:14).
2. Health crisis: This may come in the form of physical illness or death of a loved one (John 11:1-6, 11-21).
3. Financial crisis: This is a situation where an in-dividual, business or economy experiences se-vere financial distress (Mark 5:25-26; 2 Kings 4:1).
