Topic: A Lively Hope;
Hope is a confident expectation. it is a firm assurance regarding things that are unclear and unknown (Rom 8:24-25/ Heb 11:1-7)
A lively hope is a hope that is alive and active.
Qualities of a Lively Hope;
1. it is a component of the life of the righteous - Proverbs 23:18
2. Hope gives life a meaning.
3. Christ in US the hope of Glory - Col 27.
4. Our God is the God of Hope - Rom 15:13.
5. The Resurrection of Christ's death is more than Hope.
6. It is a confident assurance that something will certainly come to pass.
How the Resurrection of Jesus has given us a LIVELY HOPE
1. it assures of our inheritance in heaven reserved for us - 1Peter 1:4
2. It assures us that we are more than conquerors so nothing can separate us from the love of God - Rom, 8:31-end.
