The Seventh-day Adventist Church on 2nd May, 2026 celebrated workers during a special appreciation program held in Imo State. The event attracted dignitaries including the Labour Chairman of Imo State and his team, alongside the Regional Manager of Globacom. During the ceremony, the guests took turns to deliver inspiring messages of hope, encouraging dedication, honesty, and faithfulness in service. Speakers emphasized the importance of hard work and commitment in both spiritual and professional responsibilities. The celebration also featured prayers and words of encouragement aimed at motivating workers to remain steadfast and productive in their various fields of service. The high point of the occasion was the Special prayer offered for all workers both within and outside the Church. May God continue to bless the Nigerian Worker...Amen

As part of the Workers Thanksgiving Celebration, the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps on 9th May led a team to Seventh day Adventist Church , Owerri Central, in Imo Conference to educate worshippers on road safety measures in Nigeria. During the orientation, the team highlighted the importance of obeying traffic rules, avoiding over-speeding, wearing seat belts, and discouraging the use of mobile phones while driving. The PRO also advised commercial drivers and passengers to be conscious of safety during festive travels. Church members appreciated the initiative and promised to support campaigns aimed at reducing road accidents. The visit ended with prayers for safe journeys on Nigerian road by the Pastor , Pastor Emmanuel Anosike
