I heard the song again this morning and it made me cry thesame cry like Don Moen.

"Our hearts desire is to see the nations worship you... If we raise a cry to God our strength he will heal our land."

What is your heart desire, my brother, my sister.

As we turn our burdens and hearts desires to him in prayer. I don't know about but I what to see the nations worship Christ Jesus.

Make yourself available for God to use you in this time and season to bring his purpose and plan to fulfilment.

When you say or sing -"There is not a friend like the lowly Jesus". Some out of ignorance sing the last part as "lonely Jesus". The first impression I want to correct is the His not LONELY. If you check the description of heaven you will know that he is not lonely. Even while on earth the Father was still with him.

What then comes to your mind when ever you hear the lyrics of that song?

In the realm of men, once they have access to your secret files, they treat you as such; they threaten and even blackmail you with it. They punish you psychologically because of what they know about you. Other use it to enslave you, but not so with Jesus.

He knows all my secret and has all the evidences and documents but he still regard me as a friend. He knows all my struggles, my past sins and even the ones I may yet commit. I have betrayed him many times when he trusted me. I was just to say a simple "NO" but in trying to rationalize it, I acted and it pained him in his heart but he still calls me friend.

Even this morning Feb 16, 2018, I have experienced him as my secret adviser, who gently tells me his opinion by the help of the Holy Spirit. Even though his opinion is always the best, He doesn't force it on me. No one has so cared for me. It is hard to find a man who will give you a second chance when you have betrayed him once or to advice you again when you did not take his first advice. Jesus is different, he is humble and down to earth. He always keeps his side of the bargain. If He gives you an appointment he does not come late and even if you have flaws, he helps you to make them right.

So when I say there is not a friend like the lowly Jesus, these are the thoughts that now comes to my mind. How about you?

And all that soothes my soul is Jesus. He is more than life to me. No one ever cares for me like Jesus. There is not a friend so kind like him. No one has ever agreed to take my punishment - punishment that I deserve even though I have lots of friends. Oh! See how much he cares me.

If you are neither a friend of Jesus nor you are not growing intimately with Him and navigating with Him as a friend. Then this is a wake up call to you. You have no reason to go to hell - Look to Jesus now and live. Look and live my Brother, my Sister.

The kingdom of God is where he rules. Where sin does not have power and control. A place where God is the only attraction. The kingdom of God, is God's domain. His center and circumference of influence and authority. It's a place where Christ has then final and only say - because he speaks the mind of His Father. God seeks to establish this kingdom in your heart. Will you allow him to be in charge? RESOLVE TO MAKE CHRIST YOUR ONLY ATTRACTION

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33

To seek means to try to find, to look for, to search.
To seek the kingdom of God is a call to you and I to continually and consciously search for God through Christ, looking earnestly for Him and make every effort to find Him. And remember his promise that if you seek me you will find me. Seeking requires much effort. You cannot seek what you are yet to come in terms with. What are seeking right now. Search your heart, what are your desires? Have you resolve to seek God's face in all you will do this year? Or you will only come to him when things are hard and you seem not to find a way out? You can make that resolve now. Resolve to seek Christ and to walk with Him this year. Don't say tomorrow. If there is any new year resolution you should make, let it be - I WANT TO KNOW MORE OF CHRIST
