TOPIC: THE COMMAND TO MOVE IN FAITH FROM HOREB

Text: Deuteronomy 1:1-18

Salient lessons from today's study:

📌 No matter how comfortable you are in your comfort zone, God will always move you to His divine place of positioning.

📌 The God we serve is a dynamic God that will always bring His promise to pass.
One of His ways of doing so is to ensure that we don't remain comfortable with "less" when "much" has already been released.

📌 Until you arrive at your promised land, never remain stagnant at a place of comfort. What awaits you surpasses the comfort of the present time. Do, keep moving till you arrive, Canaan.

📌 No matter the luxury of mount Horeb, Canaan still surpasses its splendour. The ultimate for the Israelites was canaan and not Horeb.

📌 Learn to move when God says move. Safety lies in that singular instruction.

📌 Delegating responsibilities is Scriptural, and anyone with such responsibility must ensure that fairness, equity, justice, and the fear of God are the hallmark of his leadership

⚡ CHARGE
Do not despise the days of preparation. God prepares you at the place of Horeb before He commands you to move. Be ready, be obedient, and move in faith!

Share how stepping out in faith has opened new doors for you. Encourage someone to take a step of obedience today.

🙏 PRAYER
Lord, help me to trust You fully and obey Your commands. Give me courage to leave every place You have told me to leave. Guide me as I move forward in faith toward Your purpose for my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: THE LORD WILL ANSWER ME

Text: Psalm 120:1–7

Salient lessons from today's study:

📌 In situations of distress, learn to channel your pains to God and not to yourself. We serve a God who hears the cries of His children in different places at different times, all at the same time.

📌 God stands by His own children who find themselves in a hostile environment where they do the best they can to secure peace but are misunderstood. He stands as their defence, shield, and covering. Let them lie against you, be assured of the fact that you have the God of truth by your side.

📌 Be intentional in your pursuit for peace and never let a hostile environment cm people turn you to become hostile yourself. "Na condition make crayfish bend" is not the Christian mindset.

👉 CHARGE
When trouble surrounds you, don’t surrender to fear—turn your cry toward God. The One who heard you yesterday still hears you today.
KEEP PRAYING.

👉 GOSPEL ACTIVITY
Be an answer to someone’s prayer today.
Encourage someone who is discouraged, pray with someone in distress, or share God’s Word with someone who needs hope.

🙏 PRAYER
Lord, help me to cry to You in every distress and trust that You hear me. Deliver me from deceitful words, preserve my heart in truth, and make me a vessel of peace in a world filled with conflict. Amen.

📌 Our walk with God does not require our own human strength but absolute commitment to Christ even in the midst of intense persecution. It's not all about strength but our commitment to the course of Christ.

📌 Believers are called to the life of faithfulness despite the pressure.
Christ sees and understands the pressure we go through today, but like the Philadelphia church, we can only be commended when we persevere and remain faithful.

📌 All authority and power revolves around Christ as the door He opens remains open, and the one He shuts remains shut. Anchor on Him and watch Him open Unimaginable doors of help, sustenance,grace and favour unto you.

📌 When we preserve in our faith life, Christ steps in to help us in our hours of temptation. He supplies the grace needed to go through that season and emerge victorious

TOPIC: WAKE UP!

Text: Revelation 3:1-6

Salient lessons from today's study:

📌 It is possible to appear outwardly spiritually alive and active with a good reputation but lack the inner reality of Christ, Himself in the heart. So when Christ looks down into such heart, He can only see RELIGION and not deep spiritual life anchored in Him.

📌 A dead-but-alive church is a church full of activities but lacks genuine devotion to Jesus Christ. “Leaves” are visible and quite obvious, but the fruit that reveals spiritual transformation is lacking.

📌 Spiritual awakening through sincere repentance remains the solution to spiritual complacency. We must respond to Christ’s injunction in verse 2 if we must escape the judgement to come.

👉 CHARGE
You may look alive before people, but God sees the heart. Wake up! Strengthen what remains, remember, hold fast, repent and obey completely. Let God revive your spirit today. —The Gospel Activist—

💭 REFLECTION
• Am I truly awake spiritually, or am I just going through religious motions?
• What time in my life is God calling me to remember, repent and return?
