TO STAY SPIRITUALLY FUELED IN 2018 PUT GOD FIRST IN YOUR NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

As you get set to rollover from 2017 into 2018; what do you plan to do for your Maker, I mean your Redeemer, The Lord of Host and the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 54:5), YAHWEH (Psalm 68:4), The Almighty God (Genesis 17:1), The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace(Isaiah 9:6), The Most High (Psalm 91:9), The Great I AM(Exodus 3:14), The King of Glory. And "Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle". (Psalm 24:8)..? What have you planned to be doing for HIM in 2018?
Are you among those making new year' resolutions without putting God first?
There's nothing bad for you to make new resolutions, but God should come first in your priority list because He is your Maker and your First Love as the scripture says in Isaiah 54:5 "For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of host is His name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called."
You see, it is the Holy Spirit, the power of God at work in you that will enable you to achieve greatly what you plan and purpose in 2018 according to Ephesians 3:20 "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us".
Remember that He created all things and owns everyone and everything which includes you, and Psalm 24 confirms that, "The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1).
You have to seek God in His word and prayer to keep your spirit renewed and strong everyday. "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Develop a deeper relationship with your Maker in 2018. Work in the Spirit and please God with your faith without which you can't please Him (see Hebrews 11:16).
The scripture says that the deep things of God calls to the deep things of man; you and I. "Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me" (Psalm 42:7)."
This means man's spirit responding to the Spirit of God's calling to the deep, a deeper relationship with Him through the shared blood of Jesus Christ, as the Bible says in John 4:24 that "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
When you yield to this call, all things will work together for your good in 2018, because you love God and you are now working according to His purpose.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENCE! IT IS IN YOUR OBEDIENCE TO HIS CALLING, TO LOVING HIM AND WORKING ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
