TOPIC: REJECT THE POVERTY MENTALITY.

SCRIPTURE:
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your outcome in life is not a product of your family background but your mindset.

Many years ago, it was a trend for many ministers in Nigeria to take pictures of people in need from rural areas and villages and send them abroad to seek economic aid or financial support.

You see, such practice was a product of poor
mindset or poverty mentality.

Those people displayed their poverty mentality and portrayed everyone in Nigeria as beggars.

Some time ago, a tall American lady visited our church. She came in, looking very arrogant and said, “I came here to see what help we can offer to your ministry.”
I replied her, “We don’t have any need for help, but if you have any need, let us know.” At that moment, her ego and pride were deflated.

It was all about the mindset. Just because we are in a particular part of the world does not mean we should lack access to divine resources. By the grace of God, we have even sent financial support to people abroad. It is all about the mindset.

Maybe you say, “The family I come from has never crossed a certain level.” Just change your mind, and you will break that limit. Your outcome in life is not a product of your family background but your mindset.
I want you to understand that though you were born into a family on earth, when you are born again, you are no longer part of any earthly lineage. Your family lineage changed because as Scripture says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Beloved, refuse to limit yourself by your mindset.

REMEMBER THIS: Your outcome in life is not a product of your family background but your
mindset.

ASSIGNMENT:
1.From today, refuse to present yourself as a
poor fellow.

2.Cross limits and break barriers by maintaining a healthy mindset.

PRAYER:
Father, I ask that You deliver me from any form of poverty mentality. I receive the right mentality for supernatural wealth explosion as I give myself to Your Word, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE TRAGEDY OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

SCRIPTURE:
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it
cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot
hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Isaiah 59:1-2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Unrighteousness
causes separation between God and man.

It has been established that everyone was created by God to fulfill destiny. God created everyone for a life of colour and honour. However, not everyone is
fulfilling destiny or living this life of honour. Many
are living in shame because of iniquity.

Now, how does iniquity hinder a person from
fulfilling destiny and living a life of honour?

1. Unrighteousness causes separation between God and man.
Unrighteousness causes separation between God
and man, and separation from God is separation
from destiny.

Separation from God is separation from glory and honour.

The absence of God is the absence of good.

Isaiah 59:1-2 says:
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it
cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot
hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

This was what happened when man and God
became separated in the Garden of Eden.

They were driven out from that garden due to their disobedience.

2. Unrighteousness turns away good things from man.

Jeremiah 5:25 says:
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

For example, if someone steals N1,000,000, the
N100 million that was meant to come to him could be withheld or diverted to someone else.

You can’t expect to receive blessing from crookedness. If God
releases a certain amount of money to you, and you don’t show enough responsibility and integrity in managing it, He can retrieve it from you and
give it to someone else who will use it rightly.

My counsel is: Do not allow any good thing to be withheld from your life on the basis of crookedness
and recklessness.

REMEMBER THIS: Unrighteousness brings a separation between God and man.

ASSIGNMENT:
1.Refuse to be separated from God by iniquity.

2.Refuse to allow good things to be diverted from you by iniquity.

PRAYER:
Father, I ask that You deliver me from the lifestyle of sin and iniquity. Draw me closer to Yourself, Lord, that I may experience Your goodness in my
life, in Jesus’ Name.

YOUR MIND.

SCRIPTURE:

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you change your
mind, you can break free from every form of
captivity.

It has been established that the right mindset is a force for true freedom. A change of mindset is a
cure for the chains of life.

When you change your
mind, you can break free from every form of
captivity.

Romans 12:2 reminds us:
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye
may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God.

A change of mindset is key to a change of lifestyle.

Consider the prodigal son in Luke 15:17-18:
And when he came to himself, he said, How many
hired servants of my father's have bread enough
and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise
and go to my father, and will say unto him,

Father, I
have sinned against heaven, and before thee.

When you come to your senses, you come to your
changes. A change of mind is the end of the chains
of life.

For example, when you decide, I can’t be a beggar
because of where I live. Being in Nigeria doesn’t
mean I must live in lack. Being black is not
synonymous with lack, just as being white is not
always right, then your change begins.

Therefore, make up your mind to change your
mind so you can experience a change of life.

REMEMBER THIS: When you change your mind,
you can break free from every form of captivity.

ASSIGNMENT:
1.Make up your mind to change your life by
changing your mindset.

2.Break every form of captivity in your life by
embracing a new way of thinking.

PRAYER:
Father, I receive the grace for a change of mind-set.
Deliver me from mental limitations, so I can receive
freedom from every form of captivity, Lord, in
Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: WHY MUST I TAKE PERSONAL
RESPONSIBILITY?

SCRIPTURE:
"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it
is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."
John 9:4 (NIV).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You take personal
responsibility because no one can help you like
yourself, and no one can encourage you like you.

Personal responsibility is a critical requirement for progress in life.

Jesus Christ demonstrated this in
John 9:4 when He declared: I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
Notice the words: I must work the works…
This statement highlights personal responsibility.
That is why you must make up your mind to do
whatever it takes for your life to change.

Now, why is it important to take personal
responsibility?
It is important because no one can help you like
yourself, and no one can encourage you like you.
Others may genuinely care about you, but no one
can be as invested in your life as yourself.
Once you realize that no one can help you better than yourself, you will rise like a lion and take personal responsibility for your situation to change.

When you understand that no one else can do it
for you, you will stop waiting for people. You might have many relatives, but none of them is as
connected to your situation as you are. Even your
closest family members have their personal
concerns to deal with.

The best brother, sister, father, or mother you can
ever have is yourself. That is why you must rise
and take responsibility for the changes you desire in your life.

Beloved, stop waiting for others to do it for you; do it yourself. Arise and take personal responsibility today.

REMEMBER THIS: You take personal
responsibility because no one can help you like
yourself, and no one can encourage you like you.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1.Refuse to rely on others for help; trust God
completely.
2.Wake up and take personal responsibility for
your life.

PRAYER:
Father, I repent completely today from relying on
others for help. I receive the grace to fix my gaze on
You and take personal responsibility for my life
and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
