With thanks and gratitude to God, we are pleased to announce the First General Chapter of the Congregation of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Fathers and Brothers from the 5th to the 8th of March 2026.

This is a special and historical moment for us as a Congregation. It is a moment of deep prayer, reflection, and sincere discernment in our search for guidance from God for our mission and the future direction of our apostolate in service to the Church and humanity.

May we request you to pray for us during these sacred moments. Your support and goodwill mean a lot to us.

World Day for Consecrated Life

Today, on the World Day for
Consecrated Life, we join the Universal Church in thanking God for the gift of consecrated men and women who have freely dedicated their lives to God through the evangelical counsels.
As the Congregation of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, founded by Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Onyeocha, we renew our commitment to live out our consecration as a total self-gift to God and humanity. Our vocation calls us to a life of prayer, community, and loving service, bearing witness to Christ in simplicity, humility, and charity.
Consecrated life is a prophetic sign in the Church and in the world a reminder to humanity that God alone is sufficient and that love is best expressed in selfless service. On this special day, we pray for fidelity to our charism and for the grace to continue reflecting Christ’s love wherever we are sent.

May our lives be a light of hope, faith, and charity for the world.

Inspired by Mother Teresa of Calcutta, we the Congregation of Mother Teresa of Calcutta (CMT) is called to serve Christ in the poorest of the poor.
Through a life of contemplation in action, we joyfully love, serve, and reverence Jesus present in the suffering, the abandoned, and the forgotten.
With humility, simplicity, and trust in Divine Providence, we respond to human need and witness God’s tender love in the world. 🤍
