Topic: Back to Bethel in Paying Your Tithe Faithfully

Text: Deut 14:28; Malachi 3; Num 18:21–24; Deut 14:24

Tithe is a command from God that His followers should give Him ten percent of whatever He blesses them with. Tithe is one subject that is paid in different patterns according to dispensation. Abraham paid to a prophet. Jacob paid to God, while in Deuteronomy the children of Israel paid in a particular place to take care of the Levites, the needy, foreigners, and widows in that place.

Ten Reasons Why I Pay Tithe

1. I pay tithe because it provides for God’s house. (1 Cor 9:13–14)

2. I pay tithe because it tells God that I trust Him. (Matt 6:33; Prov 3:5–6)

3. It creates margin only God can fill.

4. It reminds me that I am not my source. (Psalm 21:1; Chron 21)

5. It connects my money to the Kingdom purpose.

6. It gives my job eternal significance. (Colo 3:23–24)

7. It transforms my money into a seed. (2 Cor 9:10)

8. It breaks greed and self-reliance in my heart. (Matt 6:24; 1 Tim …)

9. It lets everything else in my life know God is first. (Matt 6:33)

10. It is a dispensational thing.

Tithing is not an act of generosity but an act of obedience and allegiance to God.

Topic: Return back to holiness

Text: Judges 13; 1 Cor 6:18-20; Prov 23; Luke 11:24-26

In Book of Judges 13, we see the birth and calling of Samson. Before he was born, God had already set him apart. He was to be a Nazirite — consecrated, separated, and dedicated to God from the womb.

Samson was a man who was consecrated but later lost his consecration through careless living. His life teaches us that holiness is not a one-time experience; it is a lifelong commitment.

What is Holiness?

Holiness means being set apart for God’s purpose. It means we are a people selected by God. We are in the world, but we are not to behave like the world. Consecration is not an event; it is a lifestyle.

God did not just call Samson to be strong — He called him to be separated.

What Happens When We Lose Our Consecration?

1. Sin Defiles the Body and Drives Away God’s Presence

When we commit sin, we defile the body — the temple of the Holy Spirit. Samson toyed with sin until his strength left him. The presence of God that empowered him departed.

When consecration is lost:

Spiritual authority is weakened.

Discernment becomes dull.

The Spirit of God is grieved.

You may still look the same outwardly, but spiritually something has shifted.

2. Our Message Becomes Compromised

A compromised life produces a compromised message.

Samson was called to deliver Israel, but instead he became entangled with the very people he was meant to overcome. When holiness is lost:

Our witness loses credibility.

Our influence diminishes.

Our testimony becomes questionable.

People may not listen to what we say if our lives contradict our message.

3. Open Doors Close — And Other Doors Open

When we lose consecration:

Doors of divine opportunity begin to close.

Favor is reduced.

Protection is weakened.

At the same time, doors for the enemy open. What we entertain spiritually can eventually enslave us physically — just as Samson was bound and blinded.

Sin never leaves a person where it found them.

A Call to Return

Though Samson fell, God still had mercy on him in the end. This shows us that restoration is possible.

Holiness is not about perfection — it is about separation and surrender.

Today is a call to:

Re-examine our lives.

Repent where necessary.

Renew our commitment.

Hold fast to our consecration.

Consecration is not a one-time altar experience — it is a daily decision.

Let us return to holiness. Let us guard what God has entrusted to us. Let us remain set apart for His glory.

Glorious church service with Pst Prince Aloysius

Topic: You manifest what you think
Text: Prov. 23:7
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he

Think positive:
Whatever a person is displaying is as a result of what he harbours in his heart.

A lot of believers are poor because they have already concluded in there heart that they are poor.

Remember, what a man thinketh in his heart so is he.

Join us next Sunday for another glorious services.

God bless you.
