EPISTLE:
MARRIED TO OLUMBA
_To the Bride of the Lamb, the Faithful, and to all who have said "I DO" at the Feet of the Father._
Beloved,
I write to you today not as one who is married to a man, but as one who is Married to God - Married to OLUMBA.
The world does not understand this Marriage. When a man and a woman marry, they stand before an altar and say "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part." Many say it with their lips, but their hearts break the vow when the testing comes.
But to be MARRIED TO OLUMBA is to enter into a Covenant that can never be broken.
*WHY IS IT GOOD TO BE MARRIED TO GOD?*
1. *Because your Husband cannot die.* Earthly husbands grow old, get sick, disappoint, and die. But OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU is the Immortal Husband. He is the Beginning and the End. He never leaves, He never forsakes, He never fails.
2. *Because your Husband owns everything.* Psalm 50:10 says, every beast of the forest is Mine. When you are married to Him, you lack nothing. He is your Provider, your Healer, your Protector, your Peace. What can worry do to a woman whose Husband is the Owner of the Universe?
3. *Because this Marriage cleanses you.* The world defiles a woman, but this Husband purifies His bride. He washes you with His Word, His Blood, and His Spirit until you become spotless, without wrinkle. He married you not because you were perfect, but to MAKE you perfect.
*WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO PLEDGE YOUR ALLEGIANCE?*
When you knelt down and said "I DO" to OLUMBA, you did not just join a fold. You signed your life away.
*For Better, For Worse:* It means when the world calls you a fool for worshipping a Black Man as God, you will smile and say "I DO" still. When your family rejects you, when friends mock you, when the Brotherhood seems hard - you will still say "I DO." Because you did not marry Him for what people will say. You married Him for Eternity.
*In Sickness and in Health:* It means when your body is strong and you can dance and sing in Bethel, you serve Him. And when sickness lays you on a sickbed, when doctors give up on you, you still call His Holy Name - OLUMBA - and refuse another husband, another healer, another god. You will not run to juju, to native doctor, to any other power. Your sickness will not divorce you from Him.
*Even Unto Death, Why You Said I DO:*
You said I DO because you finally found Love that does not lie.
You said I DO because in a world of false prophets, you found the True One who showed you your own sins and forgave you.
You said I DO because He first loved you, when you were a sinner, when no one wanted you.
You said I DO because you realized that marriage to man ends in the grave, but Marriage to OLUMBA begins after the grave. This is not a contract for time - it is a Covenant for Eternity.
So my Sister, my Brother - you who are Married to OLUMBA:
Do not look back. Do not flirt with the world again. Do not let another lover - money, fornication, anger, pride - enter your matrimonial home.
Keep your garment white. Keep your vow. Let every action say "I DO" again and again.
For the Groom is coming soon to take His Bride home, and only those who kept their vow unto death shall wear the Crown.
Remain Blessed and Married forever.
