NEW PROPHET, BE CAREFUL OF THE OLD PROPHET

A young prophet with fire, vision, and clear direction from God must still walk with discernment. Sometimes, the greatest danger is not from unbelievers, but from voices that once heard God but now speak from personal interest, pride, or deception.

In The Bible 1kings 13, the young prophet received a direct instruction from God. But an old prophet came with another message and said, “An angel spoke to me.” The young prophet ignored the original instruction God gave him and followed the old prophet. That single act of disobedience ended his journey tragically.

Age in ministry is not always equal to accuracy in hearing God. Respect elders, but never replace God’s voice with human influence.

New Prophet, be careful:
Not every senior voice is a divine voice.
Not every spiritual title carries present truth.
Never abandon what God told you because of pressure from men.
Honor fathers in faith, but obey God above every man.

God calls women to reflect His glory, not just outwardly, but from the heart. True godliness shines through purity, faith, and a Christ-centered character.

1. Purity
Guard your heart, mind, and actions. Purity isn’t just avoiding sin, it’s actively pursuing righteousness, kindness, and love. Honoring God in all areas of life brings strength, honor, and radiance.

2. Faith
Faith is your foundation. Trust God’s timing and plan, even in uncertainty. Step out courageously, work diligently, and rely on Him in all you do.

3. Godly Character
Godliness shows in compassion, wisdom, diligence, and integrity. Let your words, actions, and choices reflect grace and courage, your character is your crown.

4. Impact and Legacy
Live for more than yourself. Mentor, uplift, and serve others. Leave a legacy of faith that blesses family, community, and the Kingdom of God.

Practical Ways to Live This Out:

a. Guard your heart with Scripture.

b. Walk boldly in faith.

c. Speak truth and encouragement.

d. Serve selflessly and lead by example.

e. Pursue excellence for God’s glory, not recognition.
