WOMEN MINISTRIES ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NIGERIA
MOTTO: We minister as unto Christ
Memory verse – Ecclesiastes 9:10
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest
PRAYER
Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
EMBLEM
The open heart symbolises women’s inherent openness to the challenge of human needs.
As the words, women’s ministries flows from the emblem, so love and compassion flow from the heart of women.
Women’s ministries comprises women who care about the needs of the world
COLOURS
RED: stands for the great sacrifice Christ made for our salvation. “ whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matt. 10:39, NIV)
*WHITE:* Symbolizes the standard of Christ's righteousness. "Be pure you who carry vessels of the Lord" (Isa: 52:11) NIV
As Christ sacrifice himself for our salvation, so we must be willing to sacrifice for his kingdom. His example of righteousness is our model for purity in thought, word and life.
W. M ANTHEM
If you believe, and I believe, And we together stand;
If you believe and I believe, And we walk hand in hand,
We are touched by fire; of his own great desire,
We pray and work, and give and send..
The news to every land.
*DECADE OF HARVEST SONG*
God is building a people of power
He is building a people of praise,
Who will go through this land by his spirit?
And will glorify his precious name
Build your church Lord, Make us one love

In the kingdom of your son

HOW GREAT THOU ART
*Verse 1
O Lord my God When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the works Thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy pow’r throughout The universe displayed!
Chorus
Then sings my soul, ..... My Savior God, to Thee;
How great Thou art, ..... How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, ..... My Savior God, to Thee;
How great Thou art, ..... How great Thou art!
Verse 2
When thru the woods And Forest glades I wander
And hear the birds Sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down From lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook And feel the gentle breeze,
Verse 3
And when I think That God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in –
That on the cross, My burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died To take away my sin!
Verse 4
When Christ shall come, With shout of acclamation
And take me home, What joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow In humble adoration
And there proclaim, My God, how great Thou art!
Remember that:
“ God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which is a shield towards his name, in that ye administered to the Saints, and do ministers” Heb 6:10
