TOPIC: FOUNDATION OF NEW BEGINNING (part 3a)
TEXT: James 4:13-15, PHIL 3:14, 2TIMOTHY 4:7, Hebrew 3:4

Memory Verse: Galatians 6:7 " Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows that he will also reap".

AIM: To know that if we set our 2024 goals well, we shall achieve the best.

LESSON 2: YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR RESULT OF YOUR GOALS. GAL 6:7

Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. If you sow a good seed or set goals, then you will reap a good result, so as a good goal setter, your expectations shall never be cut off, if your goal or goals are mentioned in LESSON 1,then work it out through hardwork, commitment and seriousness coupled with the fear of God, then there shall be positive result, but without faith it shall be impossible.

Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23. If you have strong faith in the lord and believe in yourself, also believing the fact that you can do it. Then the word of God that say that all things are possible in him that believeth becomes real. You can make or achieve your goal without failure. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down the father of light with whom is no variableness, neither shadow or turning "
James 3:17 ( see Numbers 23:19)
Hear this; if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally, and upbriadeth not, and it shall be given but let him ask in faith nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like a wave of sea driven with the wild tossed, for let not that man think that he shall recieve anything of the Lord, a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1-5-8. Strong faith works miraculously and brings good expectations. Child of God move "on" and achieve your great expectations throughout God's grace and at the end you will have a testimony that will shut the mouth of your enemies, set a right goal and achieve the best result. "For I know the thought that I think towards you said the Lord, thought of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope" Jeremiah 29:11

Conclusion

To God be the glory for helping us in setting our 2024 goals, we also glorify him for his promises of fruitful and productive year, child of God, if you search and set good goals, this 2024, then you shall receive the best. Meanwhile, remember to carry out all your 2024 activities with the fear of God,not only in this year, but throughout your journey in this physical system of reality. "For Behold he cometh "

TOPIC: FOUNDATION OF NEW BEGINNING (Part 2b)
TEXT: Colossians 4:5-6, EPHESIANS 5:15-17.

MEMORY VERSE: Ephesians 5:16 " See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise"

AIM : If we lay the foundation of our new beginning on wisdom, the grace of God will see us through this 2024.

Lesson 2: Divine Grace. GENESIS 6:8

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Child of God, do you know that no one survives by his own power or strength. Even as it stands now, to survive in a second is very difficult, so without God's divine grace it will be hard for anyone to survive even to achieve success.

Meanwhile, if the foundation of our new beginning this year is laid on the solid rock Jesus Christ, then our survival and success are guaranteed. Also, God's favour shall be upon us. " Indeed now, your servant has found favour in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life, lest I cannot escape to the mountains lest some evil overtake me and I die (Genesis 19:19). Child of God, the divine grace of the Lord this year 2024 and beyond is what believers in Christ Jesus require in order to succeed.

The devil is working round the clock to devour (see 1Peter 5:8) but our Lord Jesus Christ is ever ready to deliver us ( John 10:10) those who would want God to guide and protect them this year must be ready to humble themselves before God and walk in obedience and holiness. This is because God gives grace to the humble. "But he gives more grace, therefore he says; God resist the proud, but gives grace to the humble James 4:6. Those who would humble themselves before God this year shall receive divine grace and this grace would lead them to much open doors and success, favours, breakthroughs, protection and provisions. (Rev 3:8). Child of God, are you ready to follow the steps of holiness, righteousness, humility and obedience, the divine grace will see you through. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, to him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

Conclusion

Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because his compassion fails not. Lamentations 3:22. If our foundation of new beginning would be laid on the solid rock (being Jesus Christ) walking with him and in the light of his word also trusting and obeying him. Then our journey this year shall be productive, successful, glorious and blessed.

INTRODUCTION:
Brethren, if it has not been the Lord I don't think that there would remain any living thing under this physical system of reality(world),thus the scripture says, "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed because his compassion fail not " Lamentations 3:22(NKJV). "But he being full of compassion,forgave their iniquity and did not stir up all wrath for he remembered that they were but flesh,a breath that passes away and does not come again"Psalm 78:38-39(NKJV).So to succeed in this year 2024,wisdom must be applied then divine grace will see us through.

"Every wise woman builders her house but the foolish Plucketh it down with her hands "Proverbs 14:1(KJV).Child of God it is in your hands to plan and set goals for your selves in any year,this is because by wisdom horses are built,and the wise plans for the year as the year as the year has just began all you need to do is ask for God's wisdom then apply it really it will work well "Wisdom is so precious,hear this for the wisdom is better than rubies and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her,I wisdom dwell with preudence and find out knowledge and discretion" Proverbs 8:11-12(NKJV).Child of God the scripture stated that "The wisdom of prudent is to understand his ways but the folly of the fools in deceit"Proverbs 14:8(NKJV).Do not expect or wait for anybody to plan your year for you,rather do it yourself by God's wisdom and wait for a fruitful year. So do not be deceived and do not accept any word of deceit or vain words,anything you desire to achieve this year there is every possibility of achieving it as long as you will apply God's wisdom.

Hear this,"All the ways of man are pure in his own eyes but the Lord weighs the spirits, commit your works to the Lord and your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established" Proverbs 16:2-3(KNJV).Child of God,as you apply this wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable,gentle and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits,without partiality and without hypocrisy" James3:17(KJV).Child of God remember that wisdom is power and light,and as you apply heavenly wisdom in all your 2024 endeavour,the God of all wisdom shall direct and establish you in all through Jesus Christ our Lord.Amen.
