Permit me to say those who did the collection n arrangement of the allotment ought to complete Caleb's story at once. It was pastor Ishola O. Taiwo that said that some chronological arrangement of the scriptures wasn't placed sequentially. This is one of them. We're continuing with Caleb's conquest account today. Holy Spirit teach us what we must learn from Caleb's life, in Jesus name. 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 15:13-19
"In accordance with the Lord's command to him, Joshua gave Caleb...Kiriath Arba...was the forefather of Anak"(13). This has been stated in Josh 14:13-15.
"From Hebron Caleb drove out the 3 Anakites- Sheshai, Ahiman n Talmai, the sons of Anak. From there he marched against...living in Debir..."(14). This is where the continuation of Joshua 14:13-15 began. So Caleb at old age drove out 3 Giants from their cities n conquered those living in Debir. O Lord I need Caleb's kind of strength n grace, in Jesus name.

Then Caleb promised to give his daughter to anyone who would capture Kiriath Shepherd. And Orthniel his brother did n was given Aksah daughter of Caleb as wife(16-17).
Aksah urged her husband Orthniel to request for a field from her father(18a). I guess Orthniel said go ask him yourself- Smart man. Dont let anyone push you against your godly principles.
"...When she got off her donkey. Caleb asked her, What can I do for you? She replied, do me a special favor...So Caleb gave her the upper n lower springs"(18b-19). Aksah got her desire as she asked her father nicely- do me a special favor, give me springs of water. Water is life!

We're continuing with the allotments n boundaries. Caleb is from the tribe of Judah. But cos of he's outstanding n daring acts of faith, he was allotted a special land n special write up written for him. This is why we shouldn't join everybody to do evil, rebel or stand aloof. If you want your name to be written in Gold, to be read/known by all; Dare to be different n stand with God! 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 15:1-12
The tribe of Judah had their land allotment from territory of Edom- Zin(1).
There's southern boundary which started from Dead Sea- n ended at the Mediterranean Sea(2-4).
There's eastern boundary- Dead Sea in the mouth of Jordan(5).
Northern boundary began from bay of the sea of Jordan to Beth Hoglah...(5-11). Read up please🙏
"The western biundary is the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. These are the biundaries around the people of Judah..."(12).

The eastern n western boundary seemed little. But there was boundary to demarcate Judah's land from others.
The northern n southern had bigger land boundaries.
Everything must be done orderly.
Nothing no matter how minute should be left unattended to.

Texts: Luke 1:5-15; Josh 14:13-15 "So Hebron has belonged to Caleb..."(14)
Jesus our Lord taught His disciples then n now the importance of faith, patience n persistence in Luk 18:1-8. We must learn to trust n.hold God on His word even when the circumstance looks contrary to what the word says. Many heros of faith as recorded in Hebrews 11:7-39, had to wait on God patiently against all odds before they received the promise. Few even died without receiving the promise n it's counted for them as righteousness/faith(35-39).

How great/grounded is your faith in God's word? Zechariah was a priest n served God blamelessly. He prayed to have children but none came, yet, he kept serving God until his old age. By the time God visited him to release answer to his prayers, Zechariah had thought having children isn't for him, Luk 1:5-15. May God find you faithful n useful on your appointed day of visitation, in Jesus name 🌹

After 45 years that God spoke n told Caleb, you'll inherit that land where the Anakites/Giants lived, Caleb finally got to possess it. "Then Joshua blessed Caleb...n gave him Hebron as his inheritance(13).
"So Hebron has belonged to Caleb...cos he followed the Lord wholeheartedly"(13-14). It has belonged to him, but it took 45years for him to have it- Patience, faith n trust pays.
"Hebron used to be called Kiriath Acha, after Acha who was the greatest man among the Anakites..."(15). Caleb inherited the Anakites' land.

What you do or say now matters a lot. During arrest, police will tell the one under arrest to remain silent as anything said will count for/against the person in Law court. The question is: What are you doing n saying in your workplace, home n churvh of God? A Songwriter wrote- we'll be remembered only by what we've done. May we have good records that will speak in our favour in the future, in Jesus name 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 14:6-8
So as the allotment of lands for inheritance was ongoing, Caleb remembered what he said n did during the leadership of Moses.
"Now the people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal n Caleb son of Jephanneh...said to him: You know what the Lord said to Moses...about you n me"(6). Caleb went to Joshua with some persons from his tribe to remind him what God said. To remind your leader or someone of a promise/task, isn't out of place.

"I was 40 years old when Moses...sent me...to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions"(7). Yes, Caleb did gave good report. "...Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses n said. We should go up n take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it", Num 13:26-30. Don't join others to rebel/sin against God. Hey, one with God is majority!
The other spies made the people's heart to sink. "...I however, followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly"(8). Dare to be a Caleb who camped with God when others did otherwise!

When I saw as I was preparing for yesterday's teaching- the Levites received no share: I was like ha, again! Then, I remembered that when a matter or statement is repeated over n again, it means God is laying emphasis on it cos it's very very important n want His children to take careful note of the matter.
In Josh 13:14 & 32 we saw that the tribe of Levi- who are priests n temple ministers, weren't allotted any portion of land among their brethren. "But the tfibe of Levi he gave no inheritance..."(14). "But to the tribe of Levi Moses had given no inheritance...God of Israel is their inheritance..."(32). "The Levites priests...are to have no land allotted to them..." Deut 18:1-2.

Those of you who castigate pastors n propose they should work to feed n get inheritance: After seeing these repeated emphasis, will you still insist on that or you'll ask God for forgiveness n retrace your steps? May God deliver this generation from heretics n going against His word/will, in Jesus name.

Keynotes in Josh 14:3-5
"Moses had granted...their inheritance...but hadn't granted the Levites an inheritance among the rest"(3). No inheritance for Levis.
Joseph's descendants became two tribes- Manasseh & Ephraim(4a).
"The Levites received no share of the land but only towns to live in, with paxture-lands for their flocks n herds"(4a). This is the fifth place it's stated that Levi priests had no nheritance among their people. But I saw that they're given towns to live in, pasture lands to rear their flocks n herds(4a).

PS: So we know, priests don't have to live in the church compound for life. Mansions😎 should be built for them to live in, with land or space to rear flocks n herds- simple business that wont choke their time n energy for ministry tasks.

Texts: 1 Timothy 4:12; Josh 14:1-2 "...Israelis received as an inheritance...which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun n the heads of the tribal clans of Israel alotted to them"(1)
Studying the Bible through many times n having listened to several messages; I haven't come across where the lands allotted to the different tribes became an issue. Every tribe was satisfied. Of course the allotment was done by casting of lots. Also the leaders (Eleazar the priest, Joshua n the heads of the tribal clans) were fair in what they did. They demonstrated good examples for nowadays leaders and parents to emulate.

The question is: How transparent n fair are you in your leadership style/activities? We all make mistakes. But there's always room for improvement n getting things done properly without bias, prejudice or manipulation! Be engraced to be an exemplary leader, in Jesus precious name. 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 14:1-2
Great leaders like Joshua, Eleazar the priest n the heads of all Israel tribal clans came together n allotted the remaining lands that Joshua n his armies conquered to the nine and half tribes of Israel that were yet to receive their inheritances(1). As a leader don't work alone. Get trusted fellows to lead/coordinate with you. The services of a priest is vital too. Have you tried engaging priests in your assignments before?

"Their inheritances were assigned by lot to the nine-n-half tribes, as the Lord had commanded through Moses(2). To display transparency n fairness, these Examplary Leaders used a plan that no-one should doubt to distribute the lands. The method of casting lot was commanded by God to Moses. Joshua being carried along by Moses when he was in leadership, knew this n used it in his tenure.

PS: Leaders in different capacities are we learning?
Be an Examplary leader as Apostle Paul admonished Timothy in 1 Tim 4:12.

Sharing of lands or inheritance is one of the major cause of Rift among family members. A once peaceful family can be thrown into never ending fight because of inheritance allotment. I prophesy unto every troubled family as a result of inheritance allotment, receive the peace of God that passes understanding now! Peace be still to every storm in your family, in Jesus name.

Keynotes in Josh 13:24-32
"This is what Moses had given to the tribe of Gad, according to it's cities"(24). Moses the servant of God who led Israel in conquering the lands God promised them, made sure to allot the lands to them by himself.
Parents should endeavour to make adequate preparations on how their properties should be shared among their children. If possible allot some of them to your children while you're still here on earth. Let everyone start getting use to what each one of them is entitled to. This will help reduce quarrel after the demise of the parent.

These are detailed accounts of how the lands were allotted to the tribe of Gad n half tribe of Manasseh.
"The territory of Jazer, all the towns of Gilead n half of the Ammonite...from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpah...These towns...were inheritance of the Gadites..."(25-28).
"This is what Moses had given to the half tribe of Manasseh...The territory extending from Mahanaim n including all of Bashan...half of Gilead n Ashataroth..."(29-32).

Beloved children of God, we've entered the season of studying some of the detailed accounts of incidents. Myself, I no too 'gbadu' the long detailed accounts. But God is teaching us the importance of record keeping of events around us. Please pay close attention so you can learn something from the accounts. 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 13;15-23
While the tribe of Levi- was not given any land allocation because "...the God of Israel is their inheritance, as He promised them"(14, 33): the other tribes each got lands allotted to them.
To the tribe of Reuben, Moses allotted the some lands(15).

The lands allotted to the Reubenites includes: "The territory from Asher on the rim of the Arnon Gorge...the whole plateau past Medeba to Heshbon...all the towns on the plateau n the entire realm of Sihon King of the Amorites...Moses had defeated him n the Midianite chiefs..."(16-21). All these stated here n those omitted but recorded in Joshua 13:15-21, were all the territories n lands that Moses n Israel defeated n took their lands. Moses did greatly as a leader.

Aside the above listed cities n Kingdom, Israel conquered n killed others under Moses leadership. "In addition to those slain in battle, the Israelis had put to the sword Balaam son of Beor, who practised divination"(22).
"The boundary of the Reubenites was the bank of the Jordan..."(23). Here, we see the importance of putting clear boundaries in land allocations. Don't share your family's land without creating boundaries; or buy land from a person without requesting for clear boundary to be drawn demarcating your portion from the other person's.

The Scriptures are God's mind/word! People should be mindful of watering down God's instructions. We're warned in Revelation 22:18 "I warn everyone who hear the words of the prophesy of this truth; if anyone add anything to them.; God will add to the person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes word away..." There are pastors God called into full-time ministry n won't let them work outside the already hectic ministry work they do. These sets of pastors their rewards are from their place of assignment-Gods hiuse.

"The Levitical priests- indeed, the whole tribe of Levi- are to have no land allotted to them or any inheritance with them...They shall have no inheritance among their fellow Israelis, the Lord is their inheritance, as He promised them. This is the share due to the priests; from the people who sacrifice a bull... You're to give them the first fruits of your corn..." Deut 18:1-5. As they work for God n the people, whatever the people bring to church as offering to God, belongs to the priests! The people are to give to them their first fruits too(4). The question is: Are believers still doing this? We chose to join satanists who collect heavily from their members but critise giving in church, to rewrite God's instructions. O Lord deliver these generation of Christians from heretics n disobedient, in Jesus name.

Josh 13:14 "But to the tribe of Levi- he gave no inheritance, since the food offerings presented to the Lord the God of Israel are their inheritance, as He promised them" Joshua n Moses divided all the lands n plunders to all the tribes of Israel. But the tribe of Levi- whom God chose to serve in His temple were given nothing: cos God promised them that all that the people bring for Him in His house are theirs, Deut 18:1-5, Malachi 3:10
