Topic: Have Officials To Help
Text: Josh 3:1-3 "After 3 days the officers went throughout the camp..."(2)
If you check very well, you'd see that Joshua was the sole leader or sole succeeding founder appointed by God to lead the Israelis into the promised land. If you study Joshua chapter 1:1-9 where the account of God's interaction n instructions to Joshua was recorded, you'll see that God never instructed him to get officials to help him. But wisdom let Joshua to have officers who went round the camp(2).
Recall Moses' encounters with God, God never told Moses to get helpers too, Exo 3-14. But when Jethro his father in-law saw how Moses gets wearied doing almost everything alone, he counselled him to get helpers, Exo 18:13-24. Dear leader, you need helpers n volunteers to assist you to realise your goals. Even if you're the founder or owner of the vision, you need true helpers. Ask the One Who called n gave you the assignment to bring your way helpers. 🌹

Early in the morning, Joshua n the Israelis moved out from Sh*tim to Jordan n camped there for 3 days, Josh 3:1-2. As a leader know when to give yourself n those you're leading rest. Don't overwork yourself n your followers. Rest is important.

"After 3 days the officers went throughout the camp, giving orders to the people"(2-3a). Joshua has the mandate, but it was his officials who went round the camp to instruct the people. Also note that they went throughout the camp(2b). No one was left out. Let you n your helpers be thorough in your tasks. Everyone should be carried along in your leadership. Assign officers/helpers that will ensure that everyone is carried along

Topic: Divine Favour
Texts: Luke 1:28-30 , Esther 2:17-18 "...n won his Favour..."(17)
Favour is one essential commodity for living n succeeding in life. Favour is of two kinds: Favour with God and Favour with men. But if you found favor with God, you'll definitely enjoy favor with men. Please don't look for man's favor through crooked means- destroying a person to get close by all pretentious acts. Be delivered from the spirit of fake life now, in Jesus name 🌹. When your wsys plesses God, favor becomes your identity. So, just please God in all you do n say, that's what Daniel, Esther n Mary did, Dan 6:5: Luk 1:24-28.

Keynotes in Esther 2:17-18
So Esther a poor Jewish girl in the land of Susa was favored to be selected as those to be presented to King Xerxes as prospective wife(2:8-10).
"Now the King was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, n she won his favor n approval"(17a). Favor found Esther n the King chose her. Favor will find you soon!
"So he set a royal crown on her head n made her queen..."(17b). A poor n not sophisticated stranger girl became a queen! Glory to Jesus. This same thing God did for Daniel who became a top administrator in Babylon for 4 different Kings, Dan 2:48; 5:29; 6:1-3.
Beloved, what God does for one, He does for all. Get set for your undeniable Favor in that matter!

The King held banquet for months n didn't invite queen Vashti, till he n his men were drunk n needed her to come entertain them(1:4,10-11).
But when divine favor was speaking, King Xerxes "...gave a great banquet, Esther's banquet...He proclaimed a holiday..."(18). Abeg, what favor/mercy can't do, won't exist! He declared holidays throughout his kingdom to honor Esther.

Mary the mother of Jesus found favor with God. "...you who are highly favored. The Lord is with you...But the Angel said to her...Mary you've found favor with God" Luk 1:28-30; Dan 10:7-11,19.

Topic: Surely It'll Come
Texts: Josh 2:23-24 "...The Lord has surely given the whole land into our hands..."(24)
The word surely means that it's certain to happen. It's not a probability- maybe or maybe, No! I'm sent to announce to you that, you'll surely get that miracle. You just have to play your part well n trust God to come through for you. Receive that long awaited breakthrough now, in Jesus merciful name 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 2:23-24
After hiding at the hills for 3 days as Rahab told them, the spies left the hills to go back to Joshua(22).
"Then the two men started back. They went down out of the hills..."(23a). The men did what Rahab a known harlot told them. They didn't query her judgment n instruction. For doing this, they weren't caught. This is a lesson for some men who won't consider what their wives or women say. A woman may not be a military personnel or doctor, but her God's given intuition n her versatility must not be ignored!
"came to Joshua son of Nun n told him everything..."(23b). It's part of your responsibility to give report of the task given to you to your leader.
"They said to Joshua, The Lord has surely given the whole land into our hands"(24a). God gave them the whole land. I prophesy unto you: you'll recover all by mercy!
"all the people are melting in fear of us"(24b). God that did this for them will surely do yours.

Topic: Was There An Agreement?
Text: Josh 2:20-22 "Agreed, she replied..."(21)
Those that know the law very well know that, if there wasn't an agreement especially written one, you got no case to win in court. Even among village people, if you'll win, there must be a witness to say that there was an agreement whether verbal or written. Beloved, that anger you've against that person, was there really an agreement? Or just told him n assumed it's taken.

Can I talk to business partners/people! Don't or stop taking anything for granted in your business deals. Have a proper understanding, agreement, n written n signed documents to validate what you're doing together. Even if it's your blood. Bishop David Oyedepo cautioned that we shouldn't build an institution around a person, rather to build around structures. As a 1 man founded church, Winners have board members, written documents of how they operate ettc. May we be quick to learn n practice good things, in Jesus name 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 2:20-22
"But if you tell what we're doing, we'll be released from the oath..."(20). It's possible that Rahab could be pressurized n she'd expose the spies task. So they had to make everything clear without assumptions.
Then, Rahab agreed to their terms n conditions(21). Though she'd been faithful so far, yet she'd to promise to keep being faithful or the deal will be stopped. Are you learning?
The spies went to the hills n laid low for 3 days as they're instructed(22).

PS: Each party had instructions on what to do.
Each kept their part.
Each party was very careful n spoke their mind.

Topic: Make Solid Plans
Text: Matt 7:24-27 "...is like a foolish man who builds his house on sand"(26), Josh 2:17-19
God has been graciously releasing strong wisdom nuggets to us here. I do hope you're grabbing them n putting them to use. May these words not stand against us on the day of reckoning, in Jesus name 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 2:17-19, Matt 7:24-27
In His sermon on the mount in Matt 7:24-27, Jesus taught His audience- "Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine n put them into practice is like a wise man who builds his house on the rock...yet it didn't fall cos it had its foundation on the rock"(24-25). The point is: A wise man makes solid plans n build things on rocky foundations that can't be pulled down. And I hope you know that Jesus is the Rock on which you can build your life, Matt 16:18. Please make Jesus the Rock upon which you'll build your great destiny.
Jesus gives wisdom to those who ask for it, James 1:5. Have you asked for it? Don't be like the foolish man who built on the sand n it crashed(26-27).

I saw also that the 2 spies were smart, they made a firm n balanced agreement with Rahab. "...unless when we enter the land, you've tied this scarlet cord in the window...n all your family into your house..."(17-19). The spies must protect Rahab n family, if she keeps her own part of not revealing their intention n brought her family into where she's.

PS: You can't be careless or rebel against God's covenant/promise, n still expect that it'll work for you! No sirs/mas.
God is only obligated to do what He promised when we do our part.
Put what you learn from God's word to use. That shows you're Wise, Matt 7:24-26

Topic: Ladies You're Wired To Be Smart Giants
Texts: Judges 4:18-22, Josh 2:15-16 "She said to them, Go to the hills so the pursuers won't find you..."(16)
Ladies, I'm moved to address you. Like, who said a lady can't be a smart creative thinker, planner n executor? ladies just wake up already n take your rightful places in the society n church, to display the great potentials our Father graciously deposited in us His precious Lastborns! Ladies, I'm sent to inform/remind you, you carry heavy potentials n destiny, stand up strong n fulfil your great tasks now. Receive grace so to do, in Jesus name 🌹

When we say the Bible is the manual for life, some query n doubt us. Those of you following me consistently, you can testify. I for one apply the scriptures in different fields of life, as they're written in those fields too. Ladies, take time to study few recorded ladies in scriptures that were potentially loaded n did great in their times- Esther, Ruth, Deborah, Jael, Rahab, Marys in NT, Priscilla, etc.

How smart is Rahab? Josh 2:15-16
1. She took them in n hid them being knowledgeable of God's agenda n whom they're(8-11).
2. She made them swore to protect her n her family for risking her life to save them(2-5, 12-14).
3. She smartly used a rope to let them down through the window(15).
4. "She said to them, Go to the hills...Hide yourselves there for 3 days until they return n then go on your way(16). Rahab wasn't part of the army or ruling class. She's a harlot! Yet, she's so knowledgeable n versatile on how the ruling class operate.

Jael heard (cos she paid attention) that they're looking for king Sisera. She came out without being sent with plan on how to catch n kill the mighty. And smartly, she succeeded, Judges 4:18-22.
Come on ladies, if these women did, we can n can do even greater.
Get knowledge, pay attention to happenings around you, ask good questions. Wake up o

Topic: You Can't Defend God's Agenda & Be Stranded
Texts: 1 Sam 2:12-30, Josh 2:12-14 "Our lives for your lives! The men assured her..."(14)
Although God made a promise that the Levi will continuously serve Him as priests. But priest Eli's sons didn't honor God's sacred commands, so the promise was revoked. 1 Sam 2:12-30 "Eli''s son...had no regard for the Lord...Now Eli...heard everything his son's were doing...slept with women...But the Lord declares...Those who honor Me, I'll honor..."

Hear this: Stop toying with your destiny n life! God sees your thoughts n actions. If you don't have regard for God's instructions, God won't spare you. Samuel replaced those sons of Eli. May you nor be replaced in God's agenda, in Jesus name 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 2:12-14
Now Rahab ought to defend her nation. But cos she knew that the Israelis are God's special people, she decided to honor God n protect God's agenda(8-11). Knowledge of the truth saves. Pleasey, Get knowledge n wisdom.
She told the spies, I'd honored your God n saved you, please you've to save me n my families(12-13). Rahab sowed good seed, so she deserved to reap good reward(Gal 6:7-9).
"Our lives for your lives! the men assured her. If you don't tell what we're doing, we'll treat you kindly n faithfully, when the Lord gives us the land"(14). These men didn't even knew that Rahab had protected both their lives n task(14b). She intelligently chose to camp with God, n now she was assured of safety.

PS: When David had options to chose to side with men n God in 2 Sam 24:11-14, he chose God. Rahab did same.
Be wise in your choices.
You can't uphood God's agenda n honor n be stranded.

Topic: Are You Aware Of God's Agendas?
Texts: Gen 1:28 "God blessed them...Be Fruitful n Increase..." Josh 2:8-11
It's vital to be security conscious. Know your environment, the surrounding communities n the people therein, as much as you can. Smart n intelligent Rahab though a harlot, knew these things n applied good caution to be safe.
Beloved how much do you know about your environment n the people around you? Do you also know a thing about God's agenda for your family n your community? What you don't know, you can't protect n you could easily fall victim to an enemy cos of your ignorance. The wise man advised us: "Get wisdom, get understanding... Don't forsake wisdom, n she'll protect you .." Prov 4:5-9. So, don't say I don't know, Get to know n understand people n the society! 🌹

Keynotes in Josh 2:8-11
After sending her people after the spies, she went to negotiate with the spies under her roof(8).
"I know that the Lord has given this land to you"(9a). What you know determines how you act. One of God's agenda for your life is for you to be increasely fruitful, Gen 1:28. Are you aware n are you pursuing this agenda for your life?
She knew that other nations terrible cos the Jews(9b).

She heard all the mighty wonders God did for the Jews n victories they had over other nations(10). Be engraced to get information that can deliver you from errors n dangers, in Jesus name.
"When we heard of it, our hearts sank...for the Lord your God is God..."(11). A lady n a sinner knew much about God n His greatness.
