Theme:Stand firm and take action
Lesson from the Exposition
•Bro Chima informed us that standing firm and taking action is not for everyone
Example, someone on a quick sand cannot stand firm 💥❗
Someone in shackles, chains cannot stand firm, talk more of taking action.
First step to standing firm is DELIVERANCE FROM SIN ❗
If it has not happened, I mean deliverance, every effort we make will be futile. Just like the Israelites, before their freedom God had to deliver them from iniquity 💥
In John 3, Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Verily verily except a man is born again..."
He brought us to the little details there... "Except a man is born again , he CANNOT see God "
"Cannot" and "Will not" Someone that will not do something may be able to do it buh he who"CANNOT" does not have the ability to do something 💥💥❗
He says that man cannot connoct this deliverance we're talking about, it's the Saviour's work.
Until we are saved from sin, there's nothing to stand firm on 💥, all efforts made without Christ is useless 💥
Therefore anyone who's getting the message of standing firm, that person should be cleared of sin.
•Decision to break away from sin is one thing, and it takes the grace of God to totally break free.
Bro Chima says that God desires a heart that's broken, contrite .
It's sad that Bro Chima ezirim, says that from time, our church has been a place with intense lukewarmness, a place where the parents are zealous for God but the children are being pushed but to no avail. 💔 It'll be a thing of Joy if this hypothesis can be averted. Let's sit up !
Moving on 🚀
A man that can stand firm is he who is delivered from iniquity and he who has made the decision to follow Christ 💥💥💥
The only ones that can stand firm are those who stand with Jesus ❤️💥
2Tim2:19 "The foundation of the Lord stands firm❤️
Let they that know the name of the Lord depart from iniquity
If any man must be identified as a child of God, that man must encounter Jesus, he must resolve to follow Christ 💥
A quick story 🚀
Bro Chima was a son of a pastor, so while growing up he was concerned about living a good life, one with a good reputation. He was recognised by the church as a fervent child of God. He was asked to join the Bible study team buh what they didn't know if that the man they were looking up to was lost in sin, one who cannot sit in an exam hall and write an exam singlehandedly. A lukewarm Christian. So a life reflection came upon him after his father's death. And God snatched him away from the clutches of sin during a conference and there, the bones of pride, sin, ego, unseriousness was broken and he sincerely longed for Christ the more. ✝️
When God encounters a life, that life can never remain the same ❤️✝️
Every knee must bow, the question is "When"? Definitely, sooner!
