✨ Reflection for Today(1 Maccabees 6:1–13; Psalm 9; 2 Timothy 1:10; Luke 20:27–40)
Today’s readings remind us of four powerful truths:
1️⃣ Pride destroys.
King Antiochus, once feared, ends in weakness and regret. His downfall shows that no power stands against God forever.
2️⃣ God defends the humble.
Psalm 9 assures us that God never forgets those who trust Him. He sees injustice and He fights for the oppressed.
3️⃣ Christ has conquered death.
St. Paul tells us that Jesus has brought life and immortality. We no longer walk in fear; we walk in hope.
4️⃣ God is the God of the living.
Jesus teaches that life does not end in the grave. In God, we live forever.
Today, let this message strengthen your spirit.
Return to humility, trust God’s justice, and keep your eyes on the eternal hope that Christ has won for you.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, humble my heart and draw me closer to You.
Defend me in moments of weakness and remind me that You are with me.
May the victory of Jesus over death give me confidence, peace, and hope.
Be the God of my living, now and forever. Amen.
