✨ Reflection for Today(1 Maccabees 6:1–13; Psalm 9; 2 Timothy 1:10; Luke 20:27–40)

Today’s readings remind us of four powerful truths:

1️⃣ Pride destroys.
King Antiochus, once feared, ends in weakness and regret. His downfall shows that no power stands against God forever.

2️⃣ God defends the humble.
Psalm 9 assures us that God never forgets those who trust Him. He sees injustice and He fights for the oppressed.

3️⃣ Christ has conquered death.
St. Paul tells us that Jesus has brought life and immortality. We no longer walk in fear; we walk in hope.

4️⃣ God is the God of the living.
Jesus teaches that life does not end in the grave. In God, we live forever.

Today, let this message strengthen your spirit.
Return to humility, trust God’s justice, and keep your eyes on the eternal hope that Christ has won for you.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, humble my heart and draw me closer to You.
Defend me in moments of weakness and remind me that You are with me.
May the victory of Jesus over death give me confidence, peace, and hope.
Be the God of my living, now and forever. Amen.

DAILY REFLECTION 🌟
📖 Wisdom 7:22—8:1 | Psalm 119 | John 15:5 | Luke 17:20-25

Beloved in Christ, today’s readings remind us that God’s wisdom is alive and active in every heart that seeks Him sincerely.
Wisdom is not just knowledge, it is the gentle light that directs our thoughts, decisions, and actions toward what is true and good.

Jesus tells us: “I am the vine, you are the branches.”
When we stay connected to Him through prayer, love, and obedience, we bear good fruit and grow stronger in faith. Apart from Christ, we lose our direction and purpose.

The Kingdom of God, Jesus says, is not something far away or hidden, it is made visible when we live according to God’s will: in love, mercy, humility, and faith. Through our daily choices, we allow His Kingdom to shine in our world. ✨

💬 Reflection Question:
How can I let God’s wisdom guide my words, thoughts, and actions today?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, fill me with Your wisdom and keep me rooted in Your love. Help me to reflect Your light in all I do, and let Your Kingdom come alive through my faith and service. Amen.

Reflection on today's readings: The Power of Gratitude(Wisdom 6:1–11, Psalm 82, 1 Thess. 5:18, Luke 17:11–19)

Many ask God for blessings, but few return to say thank You. 🙏

Ten lepers were healed, yet only one came back, and he received more than healing; he received salvation.

A thankful heart opens doors that prayer alone cannot. No matter what you face today, give thanks, because gratitude attracts grace, peace, and joy.

“In all things give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thess. 5:18)

When God Feels Silent…

There are seasons when you pray, cry, and wait, yet Heaven seems quiet.
You look around and it feels like everyone else’s prayers are being answered except yours.
You start to wonder, “Lord, have You forgotten me?”

But here’s the truth, God’s silence is not His absence.
He’s working in ways you cannot see. He’s preparing your heart before revealing His hand.
Every delay carries a divine purpose. Every tear you shed is noticed. Every waiting season has an end.

Sometimes, He hides not to hurt you, but to strengthen your faith,
because real faith is not built in answered prayers,
it’s built in the moments when you still believe, even when nothing seems to move.

So, if you’re reading this with a tired heart… hold on a little longer.
He hasn’t forgotten you. He’s just not done yet. 💫

🕊️ “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31)

SUNDAY REFLECTION

God still writes the best stories, even in our silence. Sometimes His quietness is not distance but deep work in progress.

In today’s readings, we are reminded that God is a just listener, one who never ignores the cry of the humble and sincere. In the first reading from Sirach 35:12–18, we hear that “the prayer of the lowly pierces the clouds.” God does not favour the rich over the poor; He sees every heart that comes before Him in honesty and need.

Saint Paul, in 2 Timothy 4:6–8, 16–18, reflects on his life as one poured out for the Gospel. He shows us that when we fight the good fight and keep the faith, there is a crown of glory waiting for us. Even when people fail us, God stands by us, strengthening and rescuing us from every trial.

And in the Gospel (Luke 18:9–14), Jesus reminds us that true righteousness is born from humility, not self-praise. The tax collector went home justified because he came before God with a contrite heart, whispering, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”

These readings together invite us to come before God sincerely, without pride or pretence, trusting that He hears even our silent prayers. He lifts the humble, strengthens the weary, and walks beside those who trust in Him.

Let us continue to live with quiet faith and confident hope, knowing that God is near to those whose hearts are true. And if you believe God is still writing your story with mercy and love, type “I believe and Amen.” 💫
