TESTIMONY OF THE WEEK FROM TODAY'S SERVICE.
Last Sunday pastor asked if you have never testified since you started coming, come out. I came out with others and he said you will testify. Am a student and I work as a waitress. Last Saturday afternoon work, I was resting and I felt someone was watching me, I stood up and looked around, but could see anyone, but didn't know someone was trying to gain access into my room through the window, until he pushed down my shoes and I raised alarm. The security advised me to leave the lodge since people have traveled. When I got to work, I was feeling bad, one of our customers asked me to serve him food and I told him I was not in the mood. After some persuading me a little, I served him the food. He asked me what is the matter and I told him I need money to park to another hostel. He said give me your account number, I told he was one of those that take advantage of people. I said let me give him my number, he said he doesn't need my number, he said send the account now, before he got to his car, I received an alert to pay for another accomodations. There is God in this place

Our Bible Study yesterday was awesome, we studied on Contacting Spiritual Strength.
These are the highlights.
1. Spiritual strength is a supernatural empowerment that makes a man stand against temptation and test of time.
2. God is the giver of this strength. Psalm 68:35.
3. Spiritual Strength are in measures. Proverbs 24:10.
4. The obstacles and challenges you will overcome, is determined by your level of strength.
We used two people as examples, Mathew 11, John the Baptist was imprisoned, the challenge made him to get offended at God. Acts 16, Paul and Silas was flogged, bound with chains and thrown into prison after delivering a girl. At midnight they sang praises to God.
5. It is not God that decides how strong a man will be, it is the man that decides by following the principles that makes for spiritual strength, then God will supply it.
There are many principles, but because of time we took only one.
A. Consistently going to His presence. Psalm 84:7, 1 Chronicles 16:27.
How do you access His presence? Through thanksgiving, praise and worship. Psalm 100:4. Psalm 22:3.
From today intentionally spend time in worship, strength that is found in His presence will be added to you. God bless you, in the next bible study, we will see the other principles. Have a glorious day.

There is one thing I have learnt in my few years as a minister, it is to patiently wait and watch the things that are passing, without involving myself with them, so I don't expire with them.
