"Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Acts 2:37

"When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth." Acts 7:54.

Two scenarios above, they both heard same thing [the Word of God], but their responses were different. Whatever rule or dominate your mind will determine your response.

If Jesus have His way with you, you'd be saved, blessed and have eternal life.

If satan have his way with you, you'd become a murderer.

You can become a murderer, or be restored, transformed and empowered with everlasting life. The choice is yours to make by what you feed your mind with.

"Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." 1 John 3:15

If you don't have eternal life, what's left? Eternal damnation.

"In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous."
1 John 3:10-12

When the righteousness of the righteous upend the unrighteousness of the unrighteous, they [unrighteous] becomes a threat, deadly and dangerously evil to be around the righteous.
Be wise as the serpent and as harmless as the dove.

Trials aren't meant to break you as a believer, but to make you.
It is God that advanced Moses and Aaron, through them He brought His people out of the land of bo***ge. Yet, they had to go through stuff to qualify for the task. It's part of the process don't dodge it, every gold has to be purify by fire for enhanced value.

"Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place." Psalm 66:12

I see you stepping into your wealthy place, in Jesus name!

The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
Matthew 26:24

I believe, the greatest achievement everyone should thrive for in life, is to avoid been the reason for the folly/troubles in another's.
Satan's purpose on earth is to steal, kill and destroy. But he can't accomplish these without the aid of a heeded vessel.
Jesus said, in this life, there would be offenses targeted at you from the devil. But he (satan) can't without a heeded vessel, therefore woe unto the vessel(s) through whom the offense would come.

The only cure available to not be a tool in the hand of the devil is to walk in love "Agape". If you work in love, you wouldn't want to do anything to hurt your neighbour. Submit to God, resist the devil. James 4:7.

These things are predetermined to happen, but you can choose that no negative thing would happen through you to afflict another. Guard yourself against it or them.

"But those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled." Acts1 3:18

The temptation of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Holy Bible was a requirement for Jesus to make a choice on earth, to either go through the cross or short circuit the process. Likewise, same demand is place on everyone on earth today.

If Jesus had compromised, the process to the cross would have been short circuit Ed and purpose defeated. Hence, there wouldn't have been an atonement. If there were no atonement, redemption and salvation wouldn't have been possible, as a result, humanity would have been deemed.

I know the weights of the cross is heavy and unpleasant, coupled with the mockeries, frustrations and limitations. It's enormous no doubt.

Hebrews 12:2 says,
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

The question is, are you going to bow to the pressure and allow those whom through you will be delivered from bo***ges or will you accept the offer of the tempter and be destroyed thereafter with those who through you would've been liberated? It's a hard choice. But it's yours to make.

"If you bow, you burn. But if you don't bow, you won't burn." Kenneth Copeland

Don't give in to temporal pressure or pleasure, it will pass if you stand your ground. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego stood their ground, Jesus did, you too can.

"... fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28.

And Samuel said unto the people, It is the Lord that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt [bo***ge].
1 Samuel 12:6

God works in ways that's way beyond human comprehension, when we try to figure Him out, we walk into greater error instead. We are required to follow His leading. Romans 11:33 says,,
"O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!"

From the main text, God Himself choose the person(s) to lead His people through whom He brought them out of the land of their bo***ge. Following the events of the Bible, you'd discover that a lot of the people rebelled against Moses and Aaron the entire time in the wilderness, and were destroyed in the process. Although they were out of bo***ge in real sense, but now entangled in their own self inflicted bo***ge.

The Lord speaking through Jeremiah said,
".. I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." Jeremiah 3:15

These individuals (pastors) may not look like it, but if God is directing you across path with them, that's where the knowledge and understanding you require to live triumphantly awaits. But then 2 Timothy 4:3 says,
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;" believe it, we are in the time foretold. Many are victim of this due to proximity, association and comfort.

2022 will be a year of tremendous opportunity and possibilities, with no regard to situations and circumstances surrounding the world systems, because you have been empowered to live above them if you're in Christ Jesus. But the 'know-how' is in your place, identify your place and soar in the midst of the storms of life.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 1:2

The state of one's mind [soul] determines his/her place in destiny.
In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.
When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.

When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently.

2 Corinthians 4:18 says,
"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

The things that mostly appeals to the flesh are temporal. As a result, you have to see differently to know the right way [the God and good way] .

In this life you have to get to the place where you aren't moved by people's opinion, family or pair pressure, but by the Word of God only. It's has nothing to do with emotion, just simply obey what the Word of God says. You'd come out as a gold tried in the furnace of fire [affliction], shining and reflecting the glory of God although eternity; every other thing will be an addition in the process, not core.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:17

God, at different times and in so many ways have tried and still trying to let us know what His will for us is (He never gives up on us). Same way the devil is endeavouring to distract us from God's purpose for our life through various medium.

There is a saying, when purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse of the thing is certain. Using a toddler for an example. He/she have no clue what a remote control to a television is, if they found one. They can drop it a bowl of water if available, and still feels happy about it; simply because they have no idea what it is meant for. But as they grow up their perspective change.

Same way, God want us to grow to understand our purpose and His plans for our lives. Unfortunately, Satan have ways of distracting people from the medium made available by God for man to identify or discover his purpose on earth. In other to keep people (grown-ups) in perpetual baby stage forever and never able to discover their purpose in life.

As a result, the above scripture is admonishing us not to be unwise, as to allow the enemy distract us; but understanding [is a continous process] what the will of God is for us. In other to avoid abusing ourselves with things that are irrelevant to our purpose, but seems to appease the flesh.

I pray this minister to someone, have a fruitful week, in Jesus name!
