Prayer is simply conversation, communication, and fellowship with God borne out of the love of God with a consciousness of what God has already done in the sacrifice of Jesus.
No matter the relationship and the depth of proximity Jesus had with God, it never stopped Him from praying. As a child of God, you never grow up in Christianity from a life of prayer; rather, you grow up into a deeper life of prayer.
The prayer ethos of Jesus was borne out of an intentional decision. Jesus was intentional about His prayer life. His prayer life was primarily private and personal.
It’s great to have prayer partners but you do not depend on them to pray; prayer partners may kick start your prayer life but they cannot become your prayer life. If you have a revelation of the Fatherhood of God, you won't need someone to pray for you all the time or someone to pray with you to get to the Father. One of the greatest revelations you need having become born again is your understanding that you are a child of God. The deeper your relationship with the Father, the stronger your desire to be with Him.
The prayer ethos of Jesus sought separation and avoided distraction. It produced a sensitivity to the move of God. If you have the prayer ethos of Jesus, you would be sensitive to the move of God at all times. Prayer is not just blabbing or bragging. it is being sensitive to the move of God in that kairos, and aligning yourself to it. When you are sensitive to the move of God you will be selfless in your actions; the move of God now becomes the priority.
When you do the will of God, all else is settled. The things you pray for are fruits of doing the will of God.
The prayer ethos of Jesus invokes supernatural intervention from Heaven. When you pray to your Father, it invokes supernatural strength to do the will of God.
