📖 *BUILDING YOUR HOPES IN GOD*

*TEXT : PSALM 71:5*
For in the Lord your God is the rock of your hope.

Building your hopes in God means placing your trust, confidence, and expectations in Him. Where do you build your hopes? God's Word says He’s the rock of our hope.

*I. Why Build Hopes in God?*
Building hopes in God means:
1. *He’s reliable*: God doesn’t fail (Psalm 62:5-6, 1 Corinthians 1:9)
2. *He’s powerful*: God can do all things (Jeremiah 32:17, Ephesians 3:20)
3. *He’s loving*: God cares for you (Psalm 103:13-14, Romans 8:28)

*II. How to Build Hopes in God*
To build hopes in God:
1. *Trust His promises*: Rely on God’s Word (Psalm 119:114, 2 Peter 1:4)
2. *Seek Him earnestly*: Draw near to God (Psalm 34:4-5, Hebrews 4:16)
3. *Focus on His character*: Remember God’s goodness (Psalm 77:11-12, Romans 15:4)

*III. Biblical Examples*
The Bible shows hopes in God:

📖 *BEWARE OF DOGS*

*TEXT : PHILIPPIANS* 3:2
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of those who mutilate the flesh.

Jesus warned us about wolves in sheep's clothing 🐺. Paul cautioned about "dogs" – those who threaten our faith. Let's explore what it means to beware of dogs.

*I. Who Are the Dogs?*
Dogs refer to:

1. *False teachers*: Those who distort God's Word (2 Peter 2:1, 1 John 4:1)
2. *Evil workers*: Those who oppose God's work (Philippians 3:2, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
3. *Unclean influences*: Things that defile our faith (Matthew 7:6, Revelation 22:15)

*II. Why Beware?*
We must beware because:

1. *Faith is at stake*: False teachings destroy trust in God (Galatians 1:6-9)
2. *Souls are at risk*: Wrong influences lead to spiritual harm (Matthew 18:6-7)
3. *God's glory is impacted*: Our walk reflects on God (1 Corinthians 10:31)

The good shepherd will not make a way that will lead you astray from Him.
The way maker will not make a way that will take you away from Him.
God is protective and He desires your relationship. In relationship with Him, you understand and love Him ways.
Many desires miracles and blessings without intention to follow God but God is saying when you're in Me and I'm in you, miracles and blessings becomes your lifestyle.
