SUNDAY SCHOOL

Topic: The Glorious Child
Bible Text: Prov 4:20-27

INTRODUCTION:
A child is one age below 18years, who is still under parental guidance for care, protection and provision. An adult is always a child of its parents.

OBJECTIVES:
The saved person should know that s/he is a child of God and has a lifetime to serve the Lord faithfully. The unsaved person is a lost creature and without hope but can choose to repent and surrender his life unto God and receive the salvation, which is by grace found only in Jesus Christ, the Son of God to become a child of God.

CONCLUSION:
Godly children bring honour and pride to God and the parents. However, the child must be taught to learn obedience and honour for his parents/elders.

QUESTION:
Who is responsible to bring up godly children? Gen18:19; 2 Tim3:14,15.

APPLICATION:
I will bring up my children in the fear of God, so that I can get rest in old age.

PRAYER:
Ask God to show mercy and help you make necessary corrections to bring up your children in the fear of God.
Ask God to touch the heart of rebellious children.
