The Bible attests to the fact that there is time for everything being done here on earth. God is the owner and maker of time. He also keeps time and does everything according to His own set time. As men and people who desire to have an uninterrupted fellowship with Him, we need to do that by setting specific time (morning, afternoon and/or night) to seek Him in the place of Bible study, reading and memorization of the word and also in the place of prayers and meditation. Saints through the ages who had cordial and worthwhile relationship with God and attained to greatness in ministry and Christian walk were those who fellowshipped with Him at specific times of the day. A walk with God that is haphazard, unplanned; occasional and without focus cannot endear anyone to God. God desires to meet with you at a specific time and He will be there for you at that same time every day.

*POINT OF EMPHASIS:* Meeting God daily at a specific time is a virtue that all children of God should acquire.
*PRAYER POINT:* Father, help me to be there whenever You are calling on me in Jesus name.

THE WORD FOR TODAY

*"Thus says the Lord God: Because with unending hostilities the Philistines acted in vengeance, and with malice of heart took revenge in destruction; therefore thus says the Lord God, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the rest of the seacoast.* I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful punishments. Then they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance on them."
Ezekiel 25:15‭-‬17 NRSV

THE PHILISTINES WERE HOSTILE NEIGHBOURS TO THE ISRAELITES.

THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE BABYLONIAN DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM TO VENTILATE THEIR HOSTILITIES AGAINST ISRAEL.

THEY REJOICED AND CELEBRATED THE FALL OF JERUSALEM.

BUT THEIR JOY DID NOT LAST.
GOD'S RETRIBUTIVE JUDGEMENT CAME ON THEM WOEFULLY.

DON'T BE A HOSTILE NEIGHBOUR!

DON'T REJOICE IN THE PAINS OF OTHERS!

DON'T INCUR THE WRATH OF GOD ON YOURSELF!

IF YOU CANNOT ALLEVIATE OTHER'S PAINS, DON'T ADD TO IT, OR REJOICE IN IT!

Dear God, your word says that you will supply all our needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). I believe what you said. Your word does not return back void (Isaiah 55:11), so if your word says it, you will do it.

God, if you care enough to know the number of hairs on our heads (Luke 12:7), then you care for our finances too. So Lord, according to your word, give us our daily bread (Matthew 6:11). Provide the financial resources to meet our earthly needs.

I thank you that the righteous are never forsaken, nor do their children beg for bread (Psalm 37:25). You will not let us lack or go hungry. I thank you that every need is met and that there is no need among us (Acts 4:34). You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14).

God, I stand in financial need, but your word declares that you are an ever-present help in time of need (Psalm 46:1). I thank you that you are present and that you will provide me with the financial resources that I need to have stability.

It is not your will to see us suffer in lack. Your plan is to prosper us (Jeremiah 29:11), so God, cause me to prosper according to your word.

Thank you for the people that you have assigned to bless my life financially. Bless them even more abundantly for their obedience.
