THE MORNING ADHKAAR

_*Importance of Adhkaar*_

Shaykh Uthaymeen said, “The morning and evening adhkar are a stronger fortress than the wall of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj, for the one who says it while his heart is present.

And Ibn Salah said, “Whoever maintains the morning and evening adhkar, the adhkar after the prayers, and the adhkar before sleeping will be written among those “who remember Allah much.””

MORNING ADHKAR.

SOME STEPS TO PROTECT US FROM SATAN'S RETURN. BismilLah.

Don't make the Quran a decoration piece until next Ramadan. Let's try our best each day to recite the Quran at least 30 minutes as minimum. We should also try to understand the meaning of what we read. If we don't do this, then we can't understand what it is that ALLAH Azzawajal is talking to us about. And of course, if you can not recite properly, that's self abuse. As such, you must make it a priority to find a teacher to teach you. There is no justification that you can read English text but can not recite the Quran. It's never too late to learn to recite the qur'an and striving to understand the meaning. Not only the Quran but, more importantly, the sunnah of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam. Without the sunnah, we can not even comprehend the Quran.

May ALLAH Azzawajal grant us the love of the Quran and the sunnah of the Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam. AAMIIN.

Thirteen Statements on the Status of the Ṣaḥābah (Companions of the Prophet ﷺ)

“And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhājirīn (migrants) and the Anṣār (helpers), and those who followed them with good conduct – God is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.” – (Qurʾān: 9:100)

ONE:

A Ṣaḥābī (plural Ṣaḥābah, meaning Companion) is one who physically seen the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, believed in him and passed away as a Muslim. – (See: Qāmūs Al-Fiqh Li-Al-Raḥmānī, Majmaʾ Al-Zawāid)

TWO:

The Ṣaḥābah are the best humans after the prophets. – (See: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Musnad Aḥmad, Sharḥ Al-Sunnah)

THREE:

All the Ṣaḥābah are just and upright persons. – (See: Alfīyyah AlIrāqīy, Qāmūs Al-Fiqh Li-Al-Raḥmānī)

FOUR:

The Ṣaḥābah are the link to the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ and his teachings. It is through them, the muslim community (ummah) learnt and acquired the religion. – (See: Al-Kifāyah, Al-Iṣābah)

FIVE:

God gave them all a special title, “God is pleased with them and they are pleased with God.” – (See: Qurʾān 9:100)

SIX:

Love and respect all of them. – (See: Tirmidhī, Al-Aqīdah Al-Ṭaḥāwīyyah)

SEVEN:

Only speak good of them. – (See: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

EIGHT:

The best are the leading four, Abū Bakr, ʿOmar, ʿOthmān and ʿAlī. All four were also genuine caliphs. – (See: Al-Aqīdah Al-Ṭaḥāwīyyah, Alfīyyah AlIrāqīy, Qāmūs Al-Fiqh Li-Al-Raḥmānī)

NINE:

Leadership in Islam is by merit, not blood. – (See: Qāmūs Al-Fiqh)

TEN:

A true believer never harbours malice or hatred for any Companion. – (See: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhārī)

ELEVEN:

Do not take sides in their differences on account of their ijtihād ‘personal judgements’. – (Ṣāwi ʿAlā Sharḥ Al-Ṣaghīr, Qāmūs Al-Fiqh Li-Al-Raḥmānī)

TWELVE:

10 among them were given glad tidings of Paradise, in this world. – (See: Tirmidhī, Muqaddamah Ibn Ṣalāḥ)

THIRTEEN:

Do not commit excess in love for any of them, nor curse and disown any of them. – (See: Al-Aqīdah Al-Ṭaḥāwīyyah)

The Prophet ﷺ said, “Fear God in every matter concerning my Companions. Do not make them the targets [of your criticism] after me. Whoever loves them does so on account of their love for me, and whoever shows enmity towards them does so on account of their being hateful to me. Whoever insults them has insulted me and whoever insults me has insulted God. Whoever insults God, will soon be seized by Him.” (Tirmidhī)

“The best of my followers are those living in my generation and then those who will follow the latter.” – (Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhārī)

The Prophet ﷺ declared, “Glad tidings be for those who seen me and [also] to the people who will see my Companions who have seen me.” – (Majmaʾ Al-Zawāid)

And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allāh and were not guided.

QUESTION❓
Assalamualaikum. I recently experienced a miscarriage after one month of pregnancy. I'm seeking guidance on the Islamic ruling regarding the bleeding that follows a miscarriage. Should I fast during Ramadan and perform prayers while experiencing this type of bleeding? Jazakumullahu khairan.

ANSWER
- Wa alaykum salam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage. May Allah grant you patience and strength.

The rules regarding postpartum bleeding (nifas) apply to a miscarriage, but the specifics depend on the stage of pregnancy at the time of miscarriage.

1• Before 80 Days: If the miscarriage occurs before 80 days of pregnancy, the discharge is generally not considered nifas (postpartum bleeding) but rather istihaadah (irregular bleeding). According to Islamic ruling, this type of bleeding does not prevent you from performing prayers and fasting. Therefore, continue with your obligations, and remember to cleanse yourself and perform wudu (ablution) before each prayer.

2• After 80 Days: If the miscarriage occurs after 80 days, and the fetus has developed human features, the bleeding is considered nifas. In this case, you would refrain from performing prayers and fasting until the bleeding stops or reaches 40 days, whichever comes first. The maximum period for nifas is generally considered to be 40 days, but if bleeding stops before that, you should perform ghusl (full ritual purification) and resume your prayers and fasting.

3• Human Features: If the fetus shows signs of human features, such as limbs or fingers, regardless of the specific number of days, the bleeding is considered nifas.

May Allah ease your pain and grant you comfort, strength, and Peace

Ruling on Delaying Ghusl until after Dawn for a Junub, a Menstruating Woman and a Woman having Postpartum Blood

Q: Brother A.M.’A. from Riyadh, asks: If a fasting person has a wet dream during the day in Ramadan, is his Sawm (fast) invalidated? Must this person take a Ghusl (ritual bath)?

A: Wet dreams do not invalidate Sawm, as the occurrence of wet dreams is beyond one's will. However, anyone who has a wet dream must take a Ghusl (ritual bath following major ritual impurity) if seminal fluid is discharged. Moreover, it will be unobjectionable to delay Ghusl till it is time for Dhuhr (Noon) Salah (Prayer) if one had a wet dream after Fajr (dawn) Salah. Likewise, it is also unobjectionable to delay taking a Ghusl till dawn if one has sexual in*******se during the night. The Prophet (ﷺ) is authentically reported to have “used to get up in the morning while Junub (in a state of major ritual impurity) from in*******se and would perform Ghusl and observe Sawm” Similarly, it is unobjectionable that a menstruating woman or a woman having postpartum blood take a Ghusl after dawn if they become pure during the night, in which case their Sawm will be valid. However, it is impermissible for them and for a Junub to delay taking Ghusl till the sun shines. Rather, they have to take Ghusl before the sun shines so that they may perform Salah at its due time. Furthermore, a man who is in state of Janabah (major ritual impurity) has to take a Ghusl before Fajr (Dawn) Salah so that he can offer the Salah in congregation. Furthermore, a menstruating woman or a woman having postpartum blood has to take a Ghusl at night if she becomes pure during the night so that she may offer Maghrib (Sunset) and ‘Isha' (Night) Salah as judged by some Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ). Similarly, she has to take a Ghusl if she becomes pure in the afternoon so that she may offer Dhuhr and ‘Asr (Afternoon) Salahs before sunset.

May Allah grant us success.!

QUESTION❓️
Assalamualaikum waramotullah.
1. Is the Tarawih prayer compulsory for women?
2. Which is better for women: to perform Tarawih at home or in a mosque?
3. Is there a set number of rak’ahs for night prayers? How many rak’ahs are there in the Tarawih prayer?

ANSWER👇
- Wa Alaikum Salam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!

👉1• Is the Tarawih prayer compulsory for women?

No, the Tarawih prayer is not obligatory (fard) for women, just like for men. It is a Sunnah Mu’akkadah (a highly recommended practice) for both men and women. However, performing Tarawih during Ramadan is very beneficial and highly encouraged. If they choose to perform it, they earn great rewards.

2• Which is better for women: to perform Tarawih at home or in a mosque?

Both options are acceptable, but it is better for women to pray at home. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged women to pray in the masjid but also acknowledged that praying at home is often better for women. In one narration, the Prophet said:
"Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from going to the mosque, but their houses are better for them." (Sunan Abu Dawood)

The main reason why praying at home is considered better is for the ease and comfort it offers women, especially in terms of modesty and managing responsibilities at home. However, if a woman is able to go to the mosque without difficulty or harm, and if it helps her feel spiritually uplifted, then praying at the mosque is fine.

3• Is there a set number of rak’ahs for night prayers? How many rak’ahs are there in the Tarawih prayer?

Night prayers (Qiyam al-Lail) do not have a fixed number of rak'ahs, but there are various practices that the Prophet (PBUH) followed.

The Sunnah practice is based on what is reported in several authentic hadiths, including one from Aisha (RA) who said:
"The Prophet (PBUH) did not pray more than 11 rak'ahs in Ramadan or at any other time." (Sahih Bukhari)

The important thing is that the prayer is performed regularly and with sincerity.

To sum up:
Tarawih is not obligatory for women but is highly recommended.

Praying at home is generally better for women, though praying in the mosque is also fine if it is easier and more beneficial for them.

🤲May Allah bless you us, may Allah accept our efforts and grant us success in our worship.
