Lessons Deduced From the Hadith

1. Children are more indebted to their mothers than their fathers in a ratio of 3:1; 75% to 25% respectively.

2. Children should learn to be balanced between their two parents. They should not be careless with the minute 25% of their fathers, if truly they aspire for success in both Worlds.

3. Fathers like myself should not be disturbed by the message of this Hadīth. Since Allah has compensated us through their mothers by connecting the success of their mothers - our own wives - with their subservience and obedience to their husbands.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ, وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلاً
Transliteration

Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'aafaanee mimmab-talaahu/-talaaka bihi wa fadhdhalanee 'alaa katheerin mimman khalaqa tafdheela

Translation

Praise is to Allah Who has spared me what He has afflicted you with, and preferred me greatly above much of what He has created.

What a seamless shortcut to the attainment of Allah's intimacy and crediting our scale of deeds with Him.

Alas! some Muslims would trivialise these mighty Adhkār and their kinds due to their strong avarice for some satanic devotions and demonic supplications.

May Allah Allah make our feet firm on His only endorsed Islāmic religion and the Sunnah of Muhammad -SAW- based on the understanding of our rightly guided and certified models and predecessors.
