The Protocol for Prayer — Matthew 6:9

Often called “The Lord’s Prayer,” this passage is more accurately understood as the protocol for prayer — a divine template Jesus gave His disciples when He said, “After this manner, pray ye” (Matthew 6:9). Hallowing God’s name is to reverence and reference Him; to acknowledge that answers to every request are found in His presence.

Prayer requires both the spirit of faith that shapes how we think and speak, and the gift of faith supernaturally granted for specific moments and mountains. Together, they make this protocol not merely words, but a living, powerful transaction between Heaven and Earth.

One of the best ways to pray is to pray the way Jesus has recommended
Jesus recommendation of prayer is the best
One of the best ways to access God through prayer is relationship and connectivity
And another way to get access to God is through his Son Jesus
James 4 vrs 8
To pray we need to understand the scripture
There's a difference between reading and understanding the scriptures
We have to see the scriptures as more than letters, then it will make life to us
Relate to God as Father
Then Relate to Jesus and Holy spirit as Friend

Message: What is in your hand?
Text: Exodus 4 vs 2

Your hand signifies your strength.

Your Destiny is in your hands. When a man is born, he is born with his hands folded. God has placed what you need from birth till death in your hands, it is your responsibility to secure and maximize it.

What a needs from birth till death God has secured it in your hands.

No man is totally at disadvantage.

An ordinary rod can make wonders. That which you take ordinary, God can make it extraordinary.

To Discover what is in your hands
1. Self reflection
2. Revelation: at times it takes God to call your attention and reveal to you that which he placed on your hands.

Prayer
1. Oh Lord, Touch my hands, bless my hands.
2. In the name of Jesus, do extraordinary things with my hands.
3. Open my eyes to see that which you have placed on my hands.
