Ẹṣin kú, inú ẹrú ńdùn; ó lóun ò ní pako fún ẹṣin jẹ mọ́; kò mọ̀ pé, òun ṣì ń padà bọ̀ wá dọ̀bálẹ̀ fún ìrù ẹ̀.
Translation
A horse dies, and the slave rejoices, saying he no longer has to feed it, not realising he'll still prostate to its tail as a king's royal tool.
Moral
Nothing is permanent in life. Unexpected changes can alter one's path, and wisdom involves knowing and embracing evolving realities.
