Allah’s creation is unmatched in splendor and perfect order, impossible for any being to duplicate. _“This is Allah’s creation; show Me what others have created.”_ — Luqman 31:11

Islam encourages hard work, self-reliance, and generosity. A believer is expected to be a giver, not a beggar. While Islam permits seeking help in genuine hardship, it strongly discourages unnecessary begging and dependence on others when one is capable of working or striving.
The Prophet Muhammad taught that the upper hand — the hand that gives — is better than the lower hand that receives. This shows the dignity attached to giving, charity, and earning a lawful livelihood. Constant begging without necessity weakens personal dignity and burdens society.
A true Muslim should aim to help others, support the needy, and contribute positively to the community. Even a small act of kindness or charity can make a difference. Islam teaches us to trust Allah, work honestly, and live with contentment rather than stretching our hands unnecessarily before people.

The discrepancies between these terrorists’ practices and authentic Islamic doctrine are glaring. While they appropriate the takbir “Allahu Akbar,” they simultaneously engage in shirk by wearing amulets, an act explicitly condemned in Islam. Such conduct demonstrates they are not adherents of the faith they claim to defend, but rather agents of Shaitan seeking to defame it. Tawheed — the oneness of Allah — is non-negotiable in Islam.

In moments of hardship, dhikr is your refuge. Stay connected to the Qur’an and fill your heart with the remembrance of Allah—therein lies true peace.
Allah says: “And whoever turns away from My remembrance—indeed, he will have a depressed life…” (Qur’an 20:124)
And He says: “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Qur’an 13:28)

Not poverty. Not illness. Not loss of status or relationship. The greatest punishment, in Ibn Taymiyyah's accounting, is a hard heart.

A hard heart doesn't feel the Quran. It sits through the salah unmoved. It reads about death and files it under things that apply to other people. It performs worship without the worship reaching anywhere.

That's the state to be afraid of, not because fear is the goal, but because recognizing the symptom is the first step to asking for the cure. The cure is available. It has always been available. The question is whether the heart is still soft enough to ask for it.

Close this week with that question. May Allah keep our hearts soft and close to Him for us.

Who taught the tailor bird how to sew?

It is Allah, the One who gives every creation its form and its function.
The Qur’an reminds us that every creature is guided:

“Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided it.” (Surah Taha 20:50)

The tailor bird does not question its purpose. It does not hesitate or doubt. It simply follows the instinct placed within it, fulfilling its role in perfect harmony with nature. In this, there is a lesson for mankind—to trust the guidance of Allah and to reflect on the signs scattered all around us.
Allah Akbar!
