*THE PHARAOH THAT KNOWS (NOT) JOSEPH*

No life was created to be static. No life or creature is. The path of life is a ladder. It could be standing tall, slanting or lying flat. On it struts every creature, up or down, sliding, forward or backward. A few may chose to pause a while, yet motion is innate and near constant.
Movements have been known to make or mar many men, women, youth and children. They have established kingdoms and obliterated many nations. But movement has remained one of God's potent mercenery of empowerment and redemption of His people - be they of the Israeli stock or of the Gentiles.
It was still movement, though painful, that brought the Israelites into Egypt and a movement took them out of it. A different kind of movement landed Joseph in Pharaoh's kingdom and palace. Today, many including Christians long for Pharaohs who know and favour them. Given the option of a choice today, most will prefer being a Governor under Pharaoh than be his Adviser and a Father-figure ... now deemed as less-loaded ! The higher glory here is witnessed in and drawn from Genesis Chapter 45 Verse 8.
As we hustle and bustle in the quest for the cosiness of life, we must remember that there is no permanence when it boils down to the Pharaoh that knows or knows not Joseph. Whether known today and unknown tomorrow or unknown now but known in the future, *the Goal must be Jesus Christ* and love of the other person, not self, just Me and Mine !
Just think of it, not all Josephs will be known of Pharaohs, no matter how desperately some may try or long to. Therefore, long to be known where it matters most (Heaven), by Him Who holds all the keys to all the doors and the Evergreen Checklist - Jesus Christ !

SWIM IN THE FLOW

If the flow is calm, rough, whistling, rustling or roaring boisterously now, swim with it. In this season of the pseudo-silencer, we need must all be humbled. Peradventure, the Voice was not heard, the Hand should also not be missed.
Do not fixate. The well-rehearsed or anticipated signs may yet not be, but the signs held sway and stuck fast. Worship God in Spirit and in Truth, for the time is come for this peculiar worship.
Again, we are called to bow, worship and to swim in the flow that will be lasting and enduring ; visit John Chapter 4, Verse 23, that He may arise and favour you, for your set time is come; visit Psalms 102, Verse 13.
Or, is it not written, (where you believe, that) You are gods ?

Swim therefore in this flow.

THE naked TRUTH
AWAY, GET DOWN AND COME UP !

The above caption wears the toga of command, urgency and a harsh tone. On crucial occasions, a loving father would use such expressions to drive home primal messages.
An invincible, near-invisible but daily-felt Father has manifested works and wonders in the lives of members of his very large Family, touching and affecting virtually all of them. That they are yet to meet with him physically has posed great a worry as much as challenge. When words reliably circulated he was going to address them in person on the first Sunday in May, their joy and anxiety broke bounds. May, being the fifth month of the year, has always been ladened with significance, the hand of five fingers being a promise fulfilled for other greater fulfilment. The three days allowed for the great-meet preparation were full of suspense, expectation as much as they turned an awe-inspiring moment. Oh, the joy of hearing ! And seeing ?
The large family gathered under the big fruit tree at the boundary of the family's expanse of an orchard which had gained the status of generational legacy, as was advised by the family leader. "But you are not to press against the fruit-bearing tree", the leader had warned all. And they had echoed, "we will not", on Friday. The leader had assured them that their father would communicate with them from the thicket that is the tree top.
So, on that fateful day, they gathered, pressed against themselves, initially gently, and accentuated till the all-time benevolent tree was forced off its roots as by the prying eyes of knowledge seekers. The father, like the leader, had understimated his family members quest-drive and zeal (or so it seemed). Great was the damage and devastation came to all.
Oh, how often do we follow and respect, to the uttermost, simple instructions even when passed down for our good ? It is a common daily slip by most people; educated and uneducated, literate and illiterate, big and small, popular, famous and the unknown. It is like being in the DNA of most.
In Exodus Chapter 19 Verses 7 - 20, the people of God were in top gear making preparations (sanctifying themselves) prior to welcoming their God in a special reception. All seemed well. But in verses 21-23, further commands (as reminders) were handed down by God Almighty - The Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient One. When Moses the leader of God's people tried to argue in verse 23, the other side of our compassionate Father was clearly seen - visit verse 24.
Surely, if you do not move "away" from the ugly past, "climb down" to be like the lowly Jesus Christ, laying all down at His feet, you cannot climb to the "real up" where it matters most with the Father. If one must succeed in climbing up and equally taking an Aaron (others) with you, one must refuse to be complacent or take things for granted, in this Kingdom race.

THE naked TRUTH
IN (OR FOR) THE MOMENT

Every block laid as stepping stone or foundation is history built. As every minute rolls by, so do we. For no single minute leaves you exactly the same. Wonderfully true, an absolute truth !
Like the lily flower, we all are fashionable or would prefer to be. It runs in most of us and seems natural. Yet, fashions flow in trends. One fashion may come on stage, seize the world by storm, spin for some time and nosedive, and may not resurface in decades or one's lifetime. For too many people, their trends and fashions are only a cer. Most fashions are like the vagaries of the weather battering the lily by day and by night, wearing it out. So, they drain many, leaving no single concrete block on another for meaningful living, on a sustained and sustainable basis.
In the fleeting of today, too many have been ferried enveloped by the cares of life and the allure of materialism and very few are concerned about the ephemerality of the pursued goods. Truly, "where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" of Matthew Chapter 6, Verse 21 rings a louder bell now.
What blocks have you chosen to build your steps or stepping stones with ? Are you merely living in the moment or just for the moment ? Is it not more profitable and rewarding to live in the moment only for the sake of a greater, better and happier and more fulfilled future ? What specialties have the flightiness and fleetingness of the moment in store for anyone come that future ?
In our current World of hefty love for materialism and excessive wealth, what Peculiar Treasure have you chosen, you acclaimed Child of God ? See the choice of God, visit Psalms 135, Verse 4; it could serve as a guide or a signpost. It pays to live for that future as a saved soul ... always mindful of our choices at every point.
Where then stands the boast of fashion with its flashes-of-the-moment ? It dwells deep in fantasy.

THE naked TRUTH
YOUR TURNING POINT : the inconsequential man

A certain businessman once lived in affluence, having worked hard and smart for many years to earn his riches. His acquaintances and even the not-so-close fellows also sought and obtained his assistance at various times and places. He was much admired and respected, or so it seemed. And his business grew bigger and larger. But with greater successes recorded creeped in complacency and indifference and conceitedness. These, sooner than later, laid the foundation for insincerity, dishonesty and the lust for wealth, fame, praise and ululation. Some of his workers were undercutting, victimising and depriving co-workers and others their due. In no significantly measurable time, the fortunes of his chain of businesses dwindled speedily, suddenly. Jobs were lost, families battered and some broken, children sent packing from schools and wards from training centres.
In the commotion and their confusion, an inconsequential man emerged, gathered a few from the handful staff left and declared to them these words : Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest ... just, pure, lovely, of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think of these things instead, as he visited Philippians Chapter 4, Verse 8.
He continued, "over the years, it is obvious, your firms had run their businesses devoid of the key elements of truth, honesty, justice, purity, love and good report. Their wrong goals were excessive gains, fame and praise. But, find your good news now in job. I mean, job in Job, Chapter 42, Verses 10 - 15. Consider it Your Own Turning Point, today. Receive and be restored". And the belief of a few healed many, thereafter, bringing them into inheritances.
You, too, can become this era's inconsequential man or woman, boy or girl, bringing many to inherit the good, pleasant things of Salvation already preserved for the saved.

LETTING GO OF OTHERS' WILLFUL SINS

Hypocrisy, self-exoneration and conceitedness seem to be the greatest barriers to the fulfilment of the most cardinal of all prayers, the Lord's Prayer in most lives. There are abundance of these today. If the key to accomplishing most, if not all, of God's promises to His people is first and foremost offering and obtaining forgiveness, it follows therefore that every Christian must, as a matter of top priority, revisit Matthew Chapter 6 Verse 12, specifically.
Unfortunately, most believers gloss over or rush through this portion with little or no attention. It is distinctively clear God, and all of His, can not and will not forgive your(my) sins and shortcomings if you(I) do not first do same to those who have so erred towards you(me). Verse 12(a) can not come to pass until Verse 12(b) has been accomplished. Also, Verse 12 is in its entirety predicated or anchored on your(my) stand with men before God, vis-a-vis
Verses 14 and 15. From now, whenever you get here, solicit the help of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to forgive all, for we lack the might of ex*****on.
So, let us learn daily to take those apparently simple steps as instructed by the Master, which in fact constitute the bedrock of christiandom. Let's try harder to become practiced in letting go those willful sins and shortcomings of others around us, some of which seem to hurt us so dearly. Letting go enhances our liberty in Christ Jesus. So, let go the burden today and always !

THE OTHER WITCHERY

Have you ever been piqued by someone's success, blessing or good fortune ? Has the smile on someone's lips raised or triggered a frown on your forehead ? Or aroused an unpleasant feeling in your heart ? Or brought a destabilising effect ? Yeah, beware ! Do all you possibly can to be or remain positively in charge ... for too many are now negatively in charge ! Do all you can. Why ? That you be not trapped in the other camp of witchery. For that feeling places you, much so, on its brink.
The Word of God is unequivocally clear as to what would be the fate of one who practises witchcraft. And there are today several shades of witchery. Do not lose sight of the full-length punishment, as is the case nowadays. There is no mid-way positioning. The final cry could be ... terrible, terrible, terrible !
So, it is that whosoever bears grudge over the blessings or uplift of another, moreso if he or she is a Believer, has himself or herself hog-tied unto the stake of condemnation, eternal condemnation. Visit Exodus Chapter 22, Verse 18. Other portions will also be helpful, viz, Luke Chapter 6, Verse 31; Galatians Chapter 6, Verses 7, 9 and 10. Why the reference ? For, in fullness of time, "every man shall bear his own burden"(Verse 5).
Beware, or those things you gloss over as mere daily nomalitities become your albatross, when strength and age, pride and beauty, wisdom and finess and ephemeral wealth and ego have vanished.
Flee also from the camp of the other witchery, for like the blood-thirsty witches and wizards, their final place of forever torment is Hell fire. The Word of God has sealed it. The Blood of Jesus Christ made it a done deal. The Holy Ghost has confirmed it done and dusted. So, flee the other witchery in this life's journey !!!

THE naked TRUTH
OUR FOUR FRONT POISON

Always, they alluringly and conspicuously occupy often easily noticeable front rows, though as amicable and innocent partners. Most times very attractive, ab initio, they sweep many off their feet. They constitute the gateway to meaningful or meaningless living. We easily recognise them yet readily ignore their potency and the threats thereof.
A brief visit to the book of James, Chapter 3 Verse 8 reveals an important part of this exposition on the deadliness of the tongue's poison. Every tongue is equally loaded, irrespective of size and age. It takes grace, maturity, wisdom and self-control to detoxify any tongue.
It is beastly, iniquitous, evilly, poisonous, fiery, unruly and deadly; what an ignoble classification the tongue bears.Truth is, the tongue also has its positives and range of goodness. But is 'covert plea' is anchored on the common claim this class harbours other parts we have not been known to give equal- measure battering, in our corrective drive. Talk of the eyes, the ears and the mind !
These four partners have, with the passage of time, become thorns in the flesh of men and women, boys and girls, irrespective of status, education, exposure, wealth and even spirituality (in most cases). Together, they become an admixture producing less of their innateness and more of their morbidness; musleading, provoking, menacing, deceiving and destroying. These four have taken possesion of not just individual members of our homes, businesses, schools, churches and other worship places, but most importantly of thhe fabrics of our lives as a temporal affair, only for this world's record and our earthly benefits. Far from funny is the fact the bigger picture has for sometime now been made to appear a mere lie. As a result, very few now deeply bother about the Kingdom of Heaven and life hereafter.
What men and women, some youths inclusive now do make the awesomeness of God more awesome ! If we could get this low and be***al and distorted on the platform of a single earthly life and after that judgement, what could have played if God, the all-wise Father, were to have given each of us a duplicate life for earthly living ? Supra-mayhem !
So, to what extent have you and I been able to tame one and each of these four front partners in our lives and climes ? Oh, are you being looked at as a fool or out-of-fashion person for daring ? Now, take a sincere and serious self assessment and dig out whether or not you are part of the world's problem or a candidate for God's Kingdom.
But remember, you are neither judged nor condemned, here, even as James admonished. In 4 : 12; there is only one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another ?
So, watch diligently these four poisoning parts and place them always on your checklist, bearing their check marks.

THE naked TRUTH
ONE INUTILE FANFARE

The ostentatious, flashy and showy feast or ceremony we often indulge in at occasions or events like graduation, marriage, wedding, child and other dedication activities are, in the main, positive and benefitting, even when they are principally self-serving. Most, if not all, of these activities have imbedded in each the spirit of a future of self attainment, realisation or achievement as a living being on Earth. Your Creator expects that you rejoice and give Him Thanks for what Grace and perhaps, your effort, determination or will-power made possible. The physical manifestation of your hope is often worth a wholesome jubilation. Yes, the jubilation and showiness often oosing from these ceremonies can indeed be distinctively wholesome? You, also, are fully involved and can, in the din and all, still draw the line and peg the stakes.
This far, good. But what of the ostentatiously wasteful, futile funeral we have come to relish ? Of what benefit is it to the dead ? Do these ceremonies play the role of harbingers at Heaven's gate ? Or have most become mere mockery in the sight of God ? Do we consider if blaring the trumpet for one who may or not in anyway be close to the gate of Heaven, on transition, is pleasing or provoking God ? Visit Revelation 2 : 26.
Capture the feeling of a Judge seated in his court with supporters of a plaintiff, appellant or the prosecutor drumming, trumpeting and whistling, dancing and prancing before him, perhaps in misplaced assumption of his definitive judgement. Your guess could be a proper guide. This showiness only serves to further distract a seemingly misdirected great number. The naked truth is, the departed soul may be wailing in agony seeking our knowledge of his state of pity, but here we are, swept away, pronto, by inutile fanfare. Remember the rich man of Lazarus' days ? Visit Revelation 3 :17,19-22.
This is one fanfare driven by and filled with inutility, especially in our part of the World. Avoid this fanfare, learn to utilise the resources, time and energy on a positive drive. Just turn your head and you are sure to find so many poor lads and people touchable, even the dying, just before they die. Or from where do the followers of The Lord Jesus Christ draw this practice ? Yes, at birth our Lord was given gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Visit Matthew 2 : 11, but being dead was buried even in borrowed tomb, devoid of fanfare.
Certainly, touching the lives of the living in our midst exceeds the grandiose fanfare; it is an eternally pleasing fanfare !

THE naked TRUTH
Down-Puller : Clinging on Guilt

The dirtiest and ugliest part of you may be your past life. Yesterday or yester-years spoilt or darkened often return to haunt or hurt, in the most, those who claim to have grown or risen beyond repentance. When such past stings, its suffocating effect is more potent than the venom of deadly reptiles and arachnids. Everyone would boast an empty past if it were worth a boast. Leave, dump it behind you ... most people already have. It is simple.
The very next step you will take shall turn things around and make your today and tomorrow beautiful and fruitful ! How ? Visit Romans, Chapter 5, Verses 5-11.
If some fathers past rebelled against God one way or another, and many in the latter and even present generations have for years and decades lamented, wept and prayed unto God for forgiveness and a change in their life and fortune (amidst praises unto Him), are their actions enough ? Will God hearken to them ? Of course, their actions being in consonance with His Word, the Bible says He will, and in most cases, even has. Really, has responded ?
Why then do most Christians stubbornly cling to repeated calls for fathers' and or mothers' guilt to pass them by ? Ignorance ? One of the portions of the Old Testament we have become quite familiar with today is 2nd Chronicles, Chapter 7, Verse 14. "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
So, for ancestral(ie past, piled) sins and for your (present) sin, God has responded to repentance made. And still does, shall still do until the rapture is done.
Therefore, key in, feel and fill your freedom with joy and jubilation ! Meditate also on Romans, Chapter14, Verse 22.
Remember : When you do not let go of that past guilt, then you have pulled and put yourself down perpetually, while you laboured only trying to make God a liar, doubting His Word. But, you are more than being such. Amen.
