Come Alive
Ask rain from the LORD at the time of the spring rain-- The LORD who makes the storm clouds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man. Zechariah 10:1
Stop for a moment to praise the Lord for His faithfulness and endless mercy.

It’s amazing how death and life occur so close together. It’s said that dawn comes just after the darkest hour of night. And just when we suspect we cannot survive another moment of winter’s dormancy and darkness, spring arrives.

It comes as just a hint, a whisper. A tinge of green too small to see—and yet somehow, we perceive that the once barren forest is not entirely lifeless anymore. Soon birdsong wakes us in the morning, and flower buds peek through the ground. Where once there was only last year’s death, suddenly new life bursts through.

It is the Lord who holds the keys to this mystery—the Creator who sings the song that turns the earth toward another year of life. And through it all, we learn to see, to trust, to know that the God whose faithfulness is vividly present in spring has never left us, not even during the darkest moments of winter.

The Creator who planted the first garden in Genesis, who will plant the Tree of Healing in Revelation, delivers showers of spring rain to us today—bringing the earth back to life. Bringing us back to life. As this month ends, let us pray together: Giver of Life, You have never left our side. We look to You now with gratitude and worship.

Raised from Fear to Faith (John 20:19-22)

If we will remember the love and power of our Savior, no fear can paralyze us.

Though they knew that the tomb was empty—though they’d heard Mary Magdalene’s amazing story—the disciples were worried and wondering. Jesus had promised to rise again, true; but He had died, just as they’d seen many others die. They lost hope, perhaps assuming they, too, were as good as dead. Fear had gripped them and locked them away.

But Jesus had other plans. John noted that it was “the first day of the week” (20:19), and just as God’s Word was there at the creation of all things (John 1:1), Jesus the Word was suddenly present for a new creation. “Peace,” He said before showing them the wounds that won their salvation (20:19-20). Then, much like God breathing His Spirit into man at the beginning, Jesus breathed the life of the Spirit into His disciples, fulfilling the promise He would make to be with them always.

Jesus’ resurrection meant a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), a new and abundant life in the Spirit, and a renewed purpose. The disciples were sent out to “make disciples of all the nations” and teach people to live as Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

The same promise and purpose are ours. If we will remember His promise of presence, no fears can lock out the Savior, and no threat of death can withstand His resurrection power.

2. He's a native of Apomu(Owu Kingdom), Ogun state, Nigeria.

3. He obtained his primary School Leaving Certificate at United District Central Primary School, Arigbajo.

4. He finished his secondary school at Methodist High School Arigbajo, Ogun state.

5. After he graduated from Secondary School, He gained admission into then (Ogun State University) now Olabisi Onabanjo University.

6. He obtained Bsc in Accounting at the above named school.

7. He's married to a beautiful woman, Rev'd (Mrs) Taiwo AKINTOBI.

8. He was inagurated as the General overseer of Christ Foundation Gospel church in the year 2016.
