On 23rd April 2025, in a village in Imo State, Nigeria, there was a girl whose parents had died, leaving her as the only surviving child of the family. She was living alone in her father's house until that fateful day, according to sources and her story. Her father's uncle came to her one night and accused her of loitering with different men. The girl told him that since her parents' death two years ago, no man from outside had entered the house apart from people in the compound. Before the girl could finish, he slapped her, and she started crying. Two days later, the girl's uncle came again and said the nearby farmland was a no-go area, meaning she should not go there or do anything, either to harvest or to farm. He threatened to deal with her if she complained to anyone in the community. Out of fear, she decided to leave the house for her maternal home, where she was with the old woman who had also lost her three children and was now living in abject poverty. The girl could not continue her education until our attention was drawn to her case in March 2026. She is presently in our custody, and our organisation is making sure she has nothing to worry about. 🌟💫🎉😊👍

I encountered a 7-year-old girl named Martha who was engaged in street vending. Upon inquiry, she mentioned that her mother was at home. When asked who had instructed her to sell at such a young age, she replied that without her efforts, there would be no food for the household. This response led me to ponder the gravity of her situation, where a child of her age felt responsible for generating income for sustenance. I subsequently requested her to tally the total value of the vegetables she was selling, which amounted to #1,200. After purchasing the entire stock, I decided to es**rt her home, where her mother and twin brother were preparing to sell th@ remaining vegetables at the market. Following a discussion with her mother, I informed her that I would visit again the following week. During my subsequent visit, our organization provided assistance to the mother in establishing a more viable business venture, and the child is currently under our care, receiving training and support. She is adjusting reasonably well. 🌟💖🎉👏💪🌈

A young girl about the age of fifteen (15) years old in one village in Nigeria was forced to accept her hands in marriage with a disabled son of a Mornach. The girl's parents are very poor and can hardly earn their living. The girl is very pretty and her beauty is the talk of the community. The Monarch and the Chiefs have fixed a day for her bride price. Two days before the appointed day, she woke up early morning and picked some of her wears and sneak out of the house. When the parents woke up, the could not find her and they were searching here and there until the news reached the Eze ( Monarch). Who was disturbed about the incident. As the girl was walking alongside part road, a car drove past her and revised. It was a military man who saw her looks and the way she was walking. He stopped and alerted her. She was afraid but the military man insisted to know why she was looking that way and tears on her eyes. She narrated her ordeal the man asked her to take him to the palace where the Eze (Monarch) wants to force her marry his disabled son. He made her enter the car and he drove towards the girl's village. Fortunately for the military man, as he was driving in, the Eze (Monarch)was entering his palace. He went in with the her as the Monarch was perplexed, could not imagine the girl with the military man. The man asked the girl to repeat what she told him before the Monarch. She did. After that, the Military man cautioned the Monarch and bid him not to try such again either to the girl or other girls in that village. After that day the girl became a respected girl in that village and the military man offered her scholarship untiluniversity level. Picture below.
