WELCOME REMARKS BY THE CAN PRESIDENT, ARCHBISHOP DANIEL C. OKOH, AT THE GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF CHRISTIAN CHAPEL & PILGRIMAGE CENTRE, NNAMDI AZIKIWE AIRPORT, ABUJA ON APRIL 25, 2026.
Protocols duly observed.
It is with great joy and profound gratitude to God that I warmly welcome you all to this historic groundbreaking ceremony of the Christian Chapel and Pilgrimage Centre here at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, this Saturday in April 2026.
We are deeply honoured by the presence of distinguished government officials and eminent Church leaders. Your presence today reflects a shared vision to promote faith, unity, and spiritual well-being within our nation.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, for his strong leadership in coordinating the preparations for this groundbreaking ceremony and for his unwavering commitment to ensuring the successful and timely completion of this project.
We also wish to respectfully commend the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, for his expressed willingness to accompany CAN on this project through to its successful completion. His encouragement and readiness to stand with us add great
