We give all glory and thanks to Almighty God for the successful celebration of our Youth Day and the beautiful Crowning Ceremony of Miss CYON and Mr. Ambassador. 🙏✨

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our Rev. Father, Chaplain, coordinators, executives, planning committee, sponsors, volunteers, and every member of CYON who contributed in one way or another to making this event a memorable success.

To everyone who attended, supported, prayed, donated, participated, and encouraged us—we sincerely appreciate you. Your presence and support added colour, joy, and meaning to the celebration. ❤️

A special congratulations to our newly crowned Miss CYON 👑 and Mr. Ambassador 🤴. May God grant you wisdom, humility, courage, and grace as you represent and serve the youth. We are proud of you! 🎊

To all the contestants, participants, and performers, thank you for giving us your very best. 👏

On Holy Saturday, the Church waits at the Lord’s tomb in prayer and fasting, meditating on his Passion and Death and o his Descent into Hell, and awaiting his Resurrection. The Church abstains from the sacrifice of the Mass, with the sacred table left bare, until after the solemn Vigil, that is, the anticipation by night of the Resurrection, when the time comes for paschal joy, the abundance of which overflows to occupy fifty days.

Yesterday we gathered in faith and joy, to celebrate our annual Chrism Mass and Cathedraticum. In Chrism Mass, we remember the institution of the Holy Eucharist, the day Christ ordained His apostles as priests. During this celebration, priests renew their vows, recommitting themselves to the service of God and His people, showing them the way to know God. We also witnessed the blessing of the Holy Oils, the Oil of Catechumen, the Oil of the Sick, and the consecration of the Chrism oil, used in ordination, dedication, baptism and confirmation. We finally presented our annual gifts in support of the bishop in his pastoral works in the Diocese. Indeed, today is a day of special grace and blessings. As we ask God to sanctify these oils, we also pray that He transforms our lives, renews our hearts, and strengthens our faith. May we all receive God’s special blessings, and may God listen to our prayers and be with us, in mind and body.

It’s was a successful Meeting as usual. We had lots to eat and drink too .
