As a state arm of MCAN National NHQ, we support Islamic values, welfare, unity, and development under NYSC. Muslim Corpers' Association of Nigeria, Anambra State Chapter (MCAN-ANAMBRA) is a coordinating wing of the MCAN National, which has its headquarters in Mabushi, Abuja, Nigeria. MCAN has been in existence for more than three decades and had achieved a close relationship with Muslim graduates
that have successfully qualified for a one year National Youth Service in the various states of the Federation. MCAN was established in all the thirty-six states of the Federation including the Federal capital territory, Abuja, as a platform for fresh Muslim graduates to organize and coordinate themselves for the purposes of collectively carrying out Islamic responsibilities. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF MCAN
1. To serve as coordinating body and a forum in the exchange of ideas among Muslim corps members in all states of the Federation. Hence, the Anambra State Chapter of the body is aimed at providing a platform of unity and synergic collaboration among all Muslim corps members serving in Anambra State towards a common goal of propagating Islam in the light of serving their fatherland.
2. To protect the legitimate interest and rights of all Muslim corps members in the country. Hence, the Anambra State Chapter of MCAN is aimed at actualising these objectives by seeing to the proper welfare of all Muslim corps members serving in the state.
3. To promote a better understanding of Islam among Muslim corps members, students and the rest of the populace with a view to having a more dedicated and unified Ummah. Hence, the Anambra State Chapter of the body had strived steadily to uphold this aim by continually educating and re-educating Muslim corps members in the state on the essence of being equipped with Islamic knowledge and ethics for effective propagation of Islam.
4. To complement the efforts of various Islamic organisations in the propagation of Islam in Nigeria and throughout the world. Hence, the Anambra State Chapter of MCAN is poised to establish a strong relationship with any Islamic organisation within and outside Nigeria towards a fruitful and blossoming propagation of the religion of peace. Anambra State Chapter of the Muslim Corpers' Association of Nigeria is poised and set to achieve these aims and objectives through various programmes at various levels of the association. These include:
