MESSAGE SESSION
TOPIC: GOD KNOWS THOSE THAT ARE HIS
TEXTS:2 Timothy 2:19–20, Psalm 139:1–8, Isaiah 43:10–13, Galatians 5:22–23, John 3:3, 1 Peter 1:23, Acts 1:7–8, Matthew 6:33, John 4:24, Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 34:16, Ephesians 3:20

As believers, we must continually remind ourselves: "I must become a true child of God." Becoming a child of God is not automatic; it requires genuine repentance, obedience, and a willingness to follow God's standards.
God desires that His will be done in our lives. Every child of God must seek the gift and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit should be evident in our character wherever we go. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, and His Word must dwell richly in our hearts.
When the Holy Spirit comes upon a believer, He empowers that person to live a holy and victorious life. We must remain steadfast in the house of God and serve Him faithfully. God knows those who truly belong to Him. He knows our thoughts, our works, and the plans He has prepared for us.
No one can take away what God has ordained for His children. Therefore, our desire should be to please God according to His will and not according to our own understanding. We must also recognize and respect the boundaries and instructions God has established for our lives.
POINT 1: THE REASON AND CHARACTER OF A CHILD OF GOD
TEXT:
Matthew 7:20–23
God knows those who are His. He searches the hearts of men and recognizes those who sincerely follow Him. Therefore, let us strive to live holy lives, remain faithful to God's Word, walk in the Spirit, and continually seek His will. As we do so, our lives will reflect the character of true children of God, and we shall enjoy the blessings and purpose He has prepared for us.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his..."

POINT 2: OUR EXPECTED BENEFITS AS CHILDREN OF GOD
TEXTS: Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 43:10–13, Ephesians 3:20, Psalm 139:1–8, Acts 1:7–8

God does not call people into His family without purpose. Those who genuinely belong to Him enjoy spiritual, physical, and eternal benefits. While the Christian life involves challenges, God's promises remain sure for His children.
God declares His power to save and deliver His people. No one can reverse what He has purposed.
God has good plans for His children—plans of peace, hope, and a glorious future.God declares His ower to save and deliver His people. No one can reverse what He has purposed.
Jesus promised that His followers would receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon them.
One of the greatest benefits of being a child of God is the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
The benefits of being a child of God are beyond measure. He knows us, protects us, empowers us, guides us, answers our prayers, and prepares a glorious future for us. Therefore, let us remain faithful, obedient, and committed to His will, knowing that God never abandons those who truly belong to Him.

A Testimony of Obedience and Divine Reward

The story of Sister Favour Chukwudi is a powerful reminder that God honors obedience and rewards those who faithfully respond to His call.

When the pastor gave a word of knowledge, encouraging believers to go out and evangelize, Sister Favour did not hesitate. She embraced the instruction with faith and determination. Even though she lacked the necessary resources and did not have a sound system to aid her outreach, she refused to let limitations stop her from spreading the Gospel.

With a heart full of passion for souls and unwavering trust in God, she stepped out in obedience. She understood that God's work does not begin with what we have but with our willingness to obey His voice. Day after day, she continued the work of evangelism, trusting that the One who called her would provide all that was needed.

Today, her story stands as a testimony of God's faithfulness. The Lord has blessed her abundantly with a complete sound system and a bus to support and expand the evangelistic work. What she once lacked, God has now supplied in abundance.

Her journey teaches us that when we obey God wholeheartedly, He opens doors that no man can shut. Obedience may require sacrifice, faith, and perseverance, but the rewards of following God's direction are always greater than the challenges.

May Sister Favour Chukwudi's testimony inspire us to act on God's instructions without waiting for perfect conditions. When we take a step of faith, God provides the resources, strength, and opportunities needed to fulfill His purpose. Indeed, obedience is the key that unlocks divine blessings and supernatural increase.

"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." — Isaiah 1:19

SUNDAY SERVICE UPDATE

TOPIC: THEY SHALL NOT SAVE YOU

TEXTS:Matthew 3:9, Mark 8:36, Matthew 4:8–10, Ecclesiastes 1:1–2, 2 Kings 17:15

MESSAGE: Many things people pursue in this world cannot save them, yet they continue chasing after them without realizing that they are vanity. Many have lost their lives while pursuing worldly vanities. Everything we see and enjoy in this world is temporary and not everlasting. Therefore, we should not focus only on visible things, but rather on spiritual things which are eternal and unseen. Let us return to God and remain true believers.

POINTS TO CONSIDER

POINT 1: THE REASONS AND EXPLANATION OF THESE THINGS

In the Bible, we see examples of people who chased vanities and perished, while those who abandoned worldly vanities and followed God made heaven at last. Therefore, let us use the knowledge and wisdom God has given us to make heaven.
Men are following worldly things instead of seeking God first. The Bible says that when we seek the kingdom of God, every other thing shall be added unto us. We should think deeply about what truly matters in eternity. Let us understand the mind and will of God.

POINT 2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND NEGLIGENCE

We should know our expected response to God’s demand by following His will and refusing to follow the vain things of this world. As believers, let us win souls for God so that they too may win others for Him, instead of chasing things that are irrelevant before God.
Sinners and backsliders should also be aware of God’s work and return to Him in repentance as we all come closer to God.

Congregational hymns

1 My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
but wholly lean on Jesus' name.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand:
all other ground is sinking sand;
all other ground is sinking sand.

2 When darkness veils his lovely face,
I rest on his unchanging grace;
in every high and stormy gale,
my anchor holds within the veil.

3 His oath, his covenant, his blood,
support me in the whelming flood;
when all around my soul gives way,
he then is all my hope and stay.

4 When he shall come with trumpet sound,
O may I then in him be found:
dressed in his righteousness alone,
faultless to stand before the throne.

Distance never a barrier before God.

Beloved in Christ, our Lord Jesus is still the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He did in the days of old, He still does today for those who believe and trust in His mighty power.

The testimony of sister Ogechukwu Eze is a living reminder that Christ never fails.
She went to a crusade in Ikwuano carrying only the picture of her sick mother, believing that distance is never a barrier before God. As prayers were made by the pastors, the power of God moved mightily, and her mother received healing. What an awesome God we serve! The same Jesus who healed the woman with the issue of blood, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead is still at work among His people today.

This testimony should strengthen every believer to hold firmly to faith. Sometimes situations may appear impossible, prayers may seem delayed, and challenges may shake the heart, but Christ never abandons His own. His power has not reduced, His promises have not changed, and His mercy never runs dry.
