Text: 2Tim 2:15

* There are some blessings that comes when God must have worked on you.
* Sometimes your packaging can package God out, when we come to God, we come with an open heart.
* Our fellowship with God is more important to God than our service to Him
* Don’t study to preach, study to grow, platform can come suddenly.
* Every child of God should be ready to preach, pray or die at all times.
* Prepare and wait for opportunity, don’t wait in vain.
Ezra 7:10
* In this time and season , the church needs the ministry of teaching
2Chr 15:3
* Our generation needs a teaching priest
* You don’t handover the mantle you didn’t prepare with the word of God
* Anointing doesn’t make anyone responsible, nurturing makes one responsible.
* Nurturing people is making them grounded in the word of God and not making then photocopy of yourself.
* When you are called to be taught, be humble enough to receive corrections.
* Receiving rightful teaching make me us profitable to the body of Christ.
* As a teacher you are not permitted to teach what you like , you teach what the Lord Jesus have provided through the manual which is the Bible
* Anyone that will teach, will teach the observe all, the balanced word of God.
* Rightly dividing the word is knowing what belongs to who, you give to Lamb what belongs to Lamb, you give to Sheep what belongs to Sheep.

Our reason of study is
* to know
* To do, true knowledge provokes an action , when knowledge is applied rightfully it is called wisdom, when we apply what we have learnt, it becomes profitable to us
Ezra 7:10
* you teach what you know and obey, the word should first have effect your life before applying it in another person’s life.
* The proof that you are practicing the word is by your lifestyle , by your fruits
Luke 1:1
* The world is interested in how much we do than how much we know. James 1:22-23
* When we read the word, we behold ourselves in the mirror of the word, likewise we are expected to reflect the word, it is expected that we become what we study
* Jesus is our mirror, and we see him through the word
* Technology is there to help but there’s this inspiration that comes from the Holyspirit that is unmatched

* Doing the word of God shows that you know God The knowledge of God that does not move you to obey him has a problem 1john 2:
* a proof of genuine sonship

* a demonstration of love towards God
* Doing the word of God is a mark of clear friendship John 15:14
* Doing the word of God attracts God’s blessings John. 13:17
* Disobedience to the word of God brings eternal destruction 1Thess 1:6-10
