MISTAKES
=================
Hello everyone, it's been quite a while since quality content was shared on this page and I believe and intend to work to change it starting from this very night. Mistakes....We all have made quite a number of them in the past years of our lives. Surely, truth be told, we'll still make alot of them in the years to come, but then the point isn't about how many mistakes you make but about how you choose to turn it to wisdom. I'm among the few who encourage people to make mistakes when they can, and learn from the ones made by others, why?! I'll explain with this short story and I hope the message gets across....

Back then in secondary school, I had this physics teacher who could be really frustrating and those of us who are science students can relate. This same teacher handled maths too. He was kinda like a mini-devil. Now, he'd teach a topic with simple examples, then give an assignment using questions that just were incomprehensible to our little minds then. To crown it up, the questions most times would even not be related to the examples he gave...solutionwise I mean. He had this principle, if you fail a question of the assignment, you go back and repeat it...yourself!!! No help whatsoever from him. He'd say, "when you've failed it, and tried it again and again(i.e making different shades of mistakes over and over) it helps you know what doesn't work so that when you finally get it right or he does the correction and you see the right way it works, it'll forever stick." . And believe me it worked and still works.....fastforward to my waec...I guess that was what helped me pass physics and maths cos believe me, I did fail alot of those assignments but I got to do them over and over again thereby knowing ways in which I couldn't solve the problem.

Don't be ashamed of your mistakes, own them and move forward and upward. I'll end with this stuff my elder sister told me one day when we were having a tete â tete. She said, "Vicci, I don't have regrets from the mistakes I've made, none whatsoever cos I pick up the lesson in it and I move on. No time to waste thinking 'had I known'.". Dearie, one more time, don't let your mistakes own you, own them...dust yourself and move on. Better and bolder.
