TODAYS' DEVOTIONAL (GIAEM)
TOPIC: “HUMBLE YOURSELF”
text: JAMES 4: 6 – 10
Date: Thursday 17th January, 2019.

Memory Verse: : Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and he shall lift you up (James 4: 10).

To have lowliness of mind is what the word of Lord refers to as humility. And the word of the Lord made us to understand that those that exalt themselves in this world will be brought low by God but those that brings themselves down in heart, God will lift them up. As believers, we should learn meekness and lowliness of heart from our master Jesus Christ (Philippians 2: 3 – 4). Those who humble themselves will enjoy the abundance blessings from God. The word of the Lord will lift us up. Whatever accomplishment you have achieved, only see them as been achieved by God’s grace. Are you proud? You need to cry unto the Lord this day to deliver you and give you humility of heart. Always depend on the unchanging grace and help from God for without him we are nothing. Humble yourself!!

Prayers: Touch my knees Oh King, That I would always be bent to your Majesty withholding nothing of mine that makes me proud.

TODAYS' DEVOTIONAL (GIAEM)
TOPIC: “GOD’S BATTLE”
text: JOSHUA 10: 1 – 11
Date: Thursday 10th January, 2019.

Memory Verse:And the Lord discomfited them before Israel and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way goeth up to Beth-horon and smote,……………………… (Joshua 10: 10).

The string of victories did not come to Israel by hard work or military might, God fought for them. As long as Israel was in good standing with him, the Lord of host remains their banner. God still fights for his people. For those who through repentance and faith in Christ have submitted their lives to God, He is their source of victory. When God fights for a man, no power can withstand him. Lets learn as believers to hand over all our battles to the Lord, for He is ever ready to fight for us and we will hold our peace (Exodus 14:14) He is the man of war! And he still fights for his people and victory is sure for them.

Prayers: Today O King! Smite your enemies, for I am your Child. Grant me victory that my lips would ever praise you.

TODAYS' DEVOTIONAL (GIAEM)
TOPIC: “LEADING ALL TO CHRIST”
text: NUMBERS 10: 29 – 32
Date: Friday 4th January, 2019.

Memory Verse: And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, we are journeying unto the place of which ------- (Num. 10:29).

You may not be a great servant of God, but you may be an instrument that God can use to save the soul of one that can be a great instrument in his hand. Moses made every effort in bringing his father in-law Hobab to Cannan land through a persuasive approach, Hobab was not an Israelite, but Moses felt that as a relative of his, through marriage, he could bring Hobab to enjoy the benefits of God. Hobab objected the offer, preferring to go back to his country to be with his people but Moses was unrelenting. In this new year, let us make sure that all our relatives are been lead to Christ, do not leave anyone behind, be persuasive to lead your Hobab to Christ.

Prayers: Today, Oh King… Grant me the Boldness to Win, not just one but all to you!
