FIVE WAYS TO ENJOY MINISTRY
Neh 8:10 ...For the joy of the LORD is your strength.
There is what the bible described as the Joy of the Lord, which determine our strength (Stability, solidness, Staying power and fighting spirit) ministry is battle ground but with this joy of the Lord, we can be fighting and be happy.
1. Remove Money from the picture
> Prov 23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
The reason why lot of ministers especially we young ones are unhappy, discouraged and frustrated is because of this thing called MONEY. the day you remove Money from the picture, you'll enjoy ministerial peace and calmness. I am not saying you don't need money but everything about you should not be money.
2. Focus on what you were created to do, not what the society programmed for you
> Prov 18:16 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
It's the gifts of men that brings opportunities, not what is trending. discover what you were created by God to do, develop and wait for the right time to hit the market place.
3. Allow God promote you and what you represent, Not doing it yourself by all means
> Ps 75:6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
Hope you recently heard a pastor saying he killed up to seven people and yet church didn't grow? it simple suggest to you that only God can promote anything and anyone.
4. Use everything you represent to bring God pleasure and not pressure
> Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created
If is not about making God happy, you're not into ministry but industry. ministry is about triggering Joy in heaven, that's to say save souls for God not for personal affairs.
5. Commit everything to God through prayer
> Prov 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
You may never enjoy ministry if you're not a man or woman of prayer. it's in the place of prayer men exchange burdens, pains, tears and discouragement coming from ministry with God.
NOTE
It's true ministry is harder than military, but with God on our sides we will survive and succeed. The most important thing is he saying Weldon to us at the end. May we not fail and fall in Jesus name.
