TRIBUTE TO A GREAT WOMAN ...AN EPITOME OF LOVE ...MY MUM
I kept trying to muscle the will, strength of mind and the best time and mood to inscribe a goodbye note to the woman who gave me life and made it worth living and meaningful, but there was never an apt time to do it. I just have to do it.
To explain just how much my mother means to me is an impossible task
My mother was one of the strongest, bravest, and kindest humans to grace this planet. Without her, I wouldn't be here today, I wouldn't be the person I am, and I wouldn't have the life I have. She is everything to me, and more, and there's no way I could ever quantify the importance she's held in my life.
As a baby, she nurtured me and my siblings. As a professional teacher, she ensured we had the best qualitative education at all levels. And as a grand mother, she was everly present in the lives and upbringing of her grannies unleashing discipline and counseling to them whenever needed. My children will always behave once they hear "I will tell Grand Ma".
My mother was an inspiring soul, always there for all who came to her with their troubles. You taught me love, patience and endurance. When the going becomes rough as it will sometimes, mom will always release her words and songs of wisdom which is superbly always peaceful to the soul.
Mum didn't want us to stress so much nursing her. The ailment was brief but No! She said she is done and in a twinkle of an eye, she left.
As you leave today, let me cry, let me say My mom was my hero always leading me to right forgiving and loving . She was a star so bright. So I lose today My support, my light. My dear Mom, I wish God didn't need you in heaven because I still need you here but alas! We have no authority to question what and when the almighty does his thing. So we just have to accept it though the hard way.
Adieu Mummy. I end with this message: "If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Motherβs arms and tell her theyβre from me."
