Preach The Word

Our duty is to preach the word not something else. There's no power in the logos. Satan is not scared about the big Bible you carry in your hand. He's only afraid of the word of God you have in your heart.

* The power of Rhema in the old Testament
* The power of Rhema in new Testament
* The power of Rhema in the end testament/ end time.

Preach the Rhema of the Bible.

What the Father did in the beginning. Genesis 1:1. When the earth was in state of confusion, God brought a change in the earth by His word. It is the spoken word that can stick and sink into the heart of people. Jeremiah 15:16

There are prayer retreat all around tiday. There ought to be Word retreat also. It is not enough to see the word, we must eat it. Jeremiah 18:1

In The New Testament

*Mathew 8:9- there's power in the Word
*Matthew 28:19-
Teach the word, voice it and live by it.

Prayer is important but it must be balanced with the understanding of teaching of God's word.
The word remain powerless until we preach it. Mark 11:22-
If you carry your Bible and put it on the mountain nothing will happen. The mountain can only move when you speak the word. Hebrews 13:8

Every congregation has 3 Set of People
1. Sinners: they come to be saved.
2. Sick people: they come to be healed.
3. Saints: they come to be built up

These 3 set of people can only be reached by the word of God.

'Preach the word' is not just an advice but a command.
Consciously plan your church program to be filled with the spoken word.

1. We must be vast in the word of God
Don't submit to the temptation of copying sermons.
Jeremiah 23:21- 22, 30
Be filled with God's word.
2. The emphasis of every ministry must be on God's word. Either drama, songs, etc you're to preach the word.

3. Make sure the word does the miracles you expect.
