Owolabi Semilore Emerges 1st Runner-Up at 2026 International Children Convention
We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Owolabi Semilore, a student of Christ Dominion Secondary School, Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church (Revival Centre Omu-Aran, Kwara State), who emerged as the 1st Runner-Up (Silver Medalist) at the 2026 International Children Convention, held at C&SMC Worldwide, Galilee Land, KM 24 Ilorin-Ibadan Express Way, Orilegbon, P.O Box 68, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
The debate topic was:
“Mobile Phones Have Done More Harm Than Good in Our Society.”
Semilore demonstrated remarkable confidence, intelligence, eloquence and a deep understanding of the subject matter. She began by clearly defining the key terms of the topic and proceeded to present powerful, well-structured and convincing points that distinguished her among the contestants.
Her exceptional performance earned her a well-deserved Silver Medal at the prestigious convention.
Her achievement is a reflection of the wisdom and abilities God has deposited in our children. As the Bible says:
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
In recognition of her outstanding performance and as a means of encouraging her, the Proprietor of Christ Dominion Secondary School and Leader-in-Charge of C&SMC Revival Centre Worldwide Pastor Olushola Isaac Ajewole has graciously placed Owolabi Semilore on scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This commendable gesture is not only a reward for excellence but also an encouragement to Semilore and other children to continue pursuing academic excellence, developing their talents and representing the Church with distinction.
